Sounds cool, too bad I don't use Home enough to justify buying any of that.
Vanille actually doesn't annoy me as much as she seems to annoy everyone else. I find Snow more annoying than Vanille. Maybe that will change as the game progresses but 3 hours in she doesn't bother me all that much.
morganfell...now we are going in circles. If we leave the criteria up to the reviewer than it can't be objective (which is what everyone complains about). Each reviewer is going to have different opinions on which aspects of the game are the most important. Thus the criteria is ever changing and inconsistent from reviewer to reviewer. We would end up with reviews all over the place. The solution here is for people not to take reviews too seriously. Use them as a guide not a decision mak...
Agreed. I gave up on MW2 back in December.
I'm hoping by improvements you are not referring to update 1.05 where they totally butchered the game. I think they have 1.06 now (that I haven't downloaded) that adjusted some of the issues that 1.05 brought but that game was fine the way it was before the health was adjusted. Now anyone who can hold a controller can get a kill and it's ruined the game for me.
Greywulf...Zing.
artsaber...consult the in game encyclopedia and you will have a better understanding of what they are talking about.
morganfell...and what type of criteria would you propose.
Pennywise...that's because you haven't really started using the paradigms yet. Yeah the first couple of hours are somewhat boring and lack any type of challenge but wait until you find some decent enemies and have to start juggling paradigms.
Dlacy13g...pretty sure the formula for this one has been change from previous FF games. Not to mention that not every JRPG has the exact same formula. Maybe you should try something other than Final Fantasy 1 through 10 before you make a ...
Mr Logic...I'm going to assume that someone with the name Mr. Logic is smart enough to know that saying you have 12 million users is a very broad statement. Without details we can't really know if 12 million have used it over the course of its existence or if 12 million people use it on a regular basis. I'm not saying one way or another but Sony wouldn't be the first company to pad their stats or use deceptive rhetoric. All I'm saying is that "12 million users" is open to interpr...
morganfell...there is objectivity, not total objectivity but there is objectivity in reviews. When I write reviews on here (on my other account) I always try to remove my personal feelings from the game and attempt to write a review that is as objective as possible. I'm not going to lie and say that I am totally objective but I think if you restrain your personal feelings, a review can be reasonable objective. Besides if it was totally objective we wouldn't need people to write anything we...
Glad someone finally acknowledged that as much as we would like it to be totally objective reviews are always going to have some personality in them. Do your research, read multiple reviews and go with your gut and you will be fine.
Well we are all sorry that half a million in 1 day doesn't impress you. What would impress you, out of curiosity? Just because it didn't sell like Halo 3 or GTA4 or MW2 doesn't mean those numbers aren't impressive. Most games don't ever sell more than half a million.
Well you enjoy it. If I wasn't married I would never turn my Wii on.
DWeezy91...12 million users means 12 million people have entered Home, hell for all we know they may count people that have just downloaded the file or people that had to re-download it. The point is that when I use Home I don't see nearly as many people as I would think in there. I'm sure there are a few thousand in there at any given time but that is not very many when you consider how many PSN users there are.
Godmars290...I'm not saying that the XBL version isn't over price...
Have a Wii, not really excited about another Wii controller for my PS3.
Pennywise...hilarious, the story intrigued me because I was constantly trying to figure it the F' out. I was intrigued to see if it was ever going to make any sort of sense.
MariusElijah...every time I go in Home (about once every other month), nobody is in there. I didn't say no one uses it I just said most people don't. I mean aren't their like 20 million PSN users and how many people do see in Home at any given time? So I am speaking for myself, and a crap load of other PS3 owners.
Godmars290...yeah but Mirosoft took the best part of Home (the avatars) and put them on the Xbox. True the Live avatars are always there but from a business standpo...
presto717...agreed, if it was actually popular I would understand all the support but no one on my friends list ever goes in...ever. They keep pumping money into a service that barely anyone uses. It's baffling.
themyk...but the game wasn't designed to be like MW2 where you go down almost immediately. For me it wasn't that hard to kill people and besides that was the way the game was designed. If they had wanted it to be easier or "more realistic" then they should have designed it that way instead of releasing it and then patching it 6 months later and totally changing the way the game plays. I'm sure there are plenty that like the new health system but for people like me that have been ...
