"There is no stopping the unevitable change that started with the Age of the Internet"
You say that as if we stream all of our music....
Really? Even PvP?
People complain that max level is reached within days....
People complain that they must rank up to experience more content....
I think Bungie, rather ingeniously, planned for all this.
I think this is their way of ensuring everyone has met the base-level requirements of becoming Guardian, that way they can better cater more content for all of us.
We're nitpicking the game, as if it is what we played lvl 1-20, when really what Bungie has planned fo...
The top comment resonates with me;
"I see a lot of people giving it 3/5's and it's completely understandable. However the game sucked me in and I couldn't stop playing it. It just feels super weird for a game that I think is also a 3/5 which holds me so firmly."
While I agree with most of the complaints against Destiny, very few seem to stick enough to keep me from enjoying the game. I simply like it too much.
With far too many games, I find I fall victim to early reviews and impressions that shed light on flaws that I never recover from knowing. Often I read/hear about a complaint and it carries with me for the rest of my play-through.
Not with Destiny. While I don't denounce the complaints, as I agree with near...
*franchise to last ten years.
Oh no...... Not another "those who like it, really don't, but are trying to justify their $60 purchase" arguments....
If I hate a game, the last thing I do is go around the internet telling everyone how much I'm enjoying it!!!
No one is hitting lvl20 in 10hrs though, so what's your point?
I forgot to make the distinction between Legendary and Exotic weapons/armors.
In my comment above, the second use of Legendary should read Exotic.
There is a difference.
It'll be interesting to compare Halo:MCC (and eventually Halo5) with Bungie's new universe.
I don't think Destiny stands a chance narratively speaking, and I think Bungie knew that.
I'm most interested in seeing how the player customization compares. I love customizing my armor. Halo:Reach was really where it shined for Halo. Halo 4 seemed like a step back - and Destiny, obviously, has taken it to the next level.
I wonder whe...
"I think Titanfall had a better story" #1.5 http://n4g.com/news/1585892...
They exist! Mindblowing. I know!!
enough with these articles.
If you like it, play it. (I know I am) If you don't, pass it.
At level 20,
You unlock armour shaders
You unlock the vanguard strike playlist (around lvl18)
You unlock the daily & weekly challenges (& rewards)
You unlock the Faction vendors, and their faction-specific class items that allows the XP you earn while wearing them to earn you Reputation within that Faction.
Also, you now earn legendary armors that contain "Light" - the key to rising your level past 20.
I'm loving it. It opens up after you hit rank 20.
I'm surprised people hate it. I've hit lvl20 and I still haven't done every story mission.
Lol nope.
All?
That's quite a stretch.
Do one on Ships and Sparrows too!
Ya don't even mention that shaders will require the player being level 20?
I love this game! And I just began my 3 day weekend!
