You should have wrote the article! At least you made good points for both systems, although, I don't have any issue with the USB cable; I have 2 sixaxis and a dual shock 3 so I just rotate through them or leave my system on for a while after I'm done playing.

That is the lamest complaint list I have ever read. If this is the best he could come up with, I guess Sony did everything right! #2 and #4 are only "out-of-the-box" type issues. The first system update takes a while (not nearly as long as it did for him in my case) and the short USB cable (sitting on the floor waiting for it to charge, LOL) is only a problem if you lack fore-thought to charge your controller before or after you play AND only own one controller! No IR port, come on!...
I like the effects and camera. Now let's just hope the gameplay can hold up, and that it isn't like a straight out shooter.

Yes, they were bought out by Gamestop, but the closest video game store to me is a EB, and it is in a fairly good size city. Also, the EB website is still up and running under that name, so not all have been converted. Not really sure why, though. The EB I buy from even uses Gamestop bags!

I'll still keep my eyes out for other reviewer's takes on this game, but it doesn't look so good. I haven't played it, but I too noticed the "stiffness" to the characters. Maybe they sunk too much time in the fire effects. Who knows. Too bad.
I don't understand why so many people are coming down so hard on Rock Band and Guitar Hero. Does anyone who enjoys these games really view themselves as musicians?
