All I want from Black Friday is... world peace. You know... less people killing each other in real life, and more people coming together having fun in the gaming world.
@the_dark_one Ah, I see. Still seems like a cop-out choice though. They essentially are giving us a demo, regardless of whether the rest of the season is released or not.
Lol, only episode 1 available for free? Telltale regularly gives us episode 1 of their games for free outside of PS+... so it's supposed to be PS+ worthy for Sierra to give us only episode 1 of King's Quest? I would have been happy with the full season, sure! This is lame though.
Because studios want to hit that coveted Holiday release time frame even if it would be better for them to wait until the Spring.
I'm thankful for N4G. I used to be a regular user of IGN, but I find N4G to be the better daily go-to site for me. Better community, especially after IGN's stubborn change to LiveFyre. Wider range of gaming sources. Happy Holidays, you all!
Sounds good! The map really didn't need to get any bigger than Just Cause 2. Happy to hear it's roughly the same size.
The Star Wars licensing is expensive, no doubt. Other than the graphics and the initial licensing, I don't see how the investment was so greatly used.
My grandfather went as far as to change the pronunciation of our last name to sound less Italian. Sicilians were highly hated and discrimnated against in the early 1900's because of others' association in the Mob. Don't give me this "White people have never experienced discrimnation" nonsense. It wasn't until my current family that we started pronouncing it in its original Italian again.
Yes, I agree having an unlimited carry weight would suck some of the fun out of it.
Exactly how I feel. EVERYTHING has value now, so I don't want to throw out anything! It's great and terrible at the same time. :P
I think they should have allowed us to travel the Wasteland with a Brahmin or two. We could have left them outside of buildings, and load off our heavy loot on their backs when we get done.
*Of course you can always throw a few things on your dog.
I'm tempted to get this. I'd like to know more information on what all we're getting though. I feel a bit burnt by Arkham Knight's season pass. Definitely not worth $40, but I bought it blindly not knowing what was coming. I do think Bethesda has a better track record with DLC! (Horse armor not included)
I had a chance to play it at Lisbon Games Week on Saturday. I loved it, although it felt oddly familiar... not much different than UC2 & UC3 mp. That's not necessarily a bad thing! I saw someone else summon the El Dorado statue, which was pretty cool, but felt oddly out of place. I thought the graphics were nice, but not nearly as great as what we had seen in the single player previews. I'm still looking forward to playing more of the beta next month! I only got to play 1 round an...
Same.
And it controls so MUCH better with a DualShock 4! I'm gold medaling some of the races I was having a really hard time achieving on the Vita.
I had wanted a PSTv, but never bought one because of it's slim support of Vita games. I went out and bought one this week though after reading about this hack. So glad I did!
Cool prototype. I just hope the final release isn't full of bugs.
Maybe the off the clock thing is an Australian EB issue. I ASM'ed an EB Games store that was later bought out by Gamestop in the States. I know I would have lost my job if I ever asked one of our employees to work off the clock.
That said, EB Games/Gamestop is still a horrible company. Corporate doesn't give two s***s about their employees and harass the hell out of the customers. I won't even shop there anymore.
That's terrible to hear about...
Yes! That's exactly what I was thinking as I've read over some of these other people's lists on here. GOW 1 was groundbreaking. It may be a bit dated now, but it laid the foundation for all these other sequels. The story and presentation was phenomenal. Kratos murdering his own wife and child & wearing their ashes. Man.
GOW 2 may be my favorite, but GOW 1 is right up there.
I'd have to say it's one of my favorite PS+ games yet. I can't put it down. So simple, but so well done and addictive!
My 35th birthday exactly. Thanks Bethesda, I feel like a kid again! So freakin' excited.
As a child of the 80's who was (and still is) a big fan of the original trilogy, I did not buy it. Not enough content and I really disliked the vehicle tokens from the beta. I'll still pick up a more full fledged GOTY edition later next year bc of my love of Star Wars, but I can't help but feel the core of the game could have been so much better beyond its impressive aesthetics.
