The new S console is really cool, wish I had that one. But even the normal 360 was a better look than last gen Xbox, it's just too bad about RROD!!!
Stupid RROD.
Shaky-cam was so cool in Bourne, but now is WAY overdone. Now games are overdoing it too.
I agree there are way too many games and it is confusing just keeping up with what's coming out on one console, never mind all of the platforms!
I have to argue with myself over what new upcoming game for what console I should save for, since I don't have a lot of money. if I get one that isn't what I thought it was I get angry at myself.
I think they are going about it gradually by limiting the on-disc content (making you download the rest from code) so that the used versions would be lesser versions.
But yeah they are heading for digital only or some way you can't get it used or trade it. That means less games for me!
It looks great, but I'm not sure about the price: you can get the Lara Croft game for that and it looks a bit deeper...
I have never liked boss battles and I HATE the boss battles on Japanese RPGs. I think that developers should extend a game some other way or make the game harder some other way because I think that boss battles aren't necessary.
ME2 did need the vehicle bits!
I know! Not Fair! iTouch....remote car....iTouch....remote car. iTouch!
yeah I noticed that EB GAMES says 1 per customer but that over at GAME you can order it too...and looks to have no limit.
Like the map editor!!!! That was the best!
I think $228 AUD is a bit steep for a Limited Edition version of a game...that's the price of a console! But that remote controlled car would be very nice indeed if nicely built...
I think that finishing the monthly DLCs for Forza 3 was a good decision because if you keep releasing DLCs then you will start to run out of ideas and then the DLCs will get to a low quality, which won't be good for a good game.
The comparisons are good and I completely agree with them. It shows that not all sequels aren't always better than their originals.
Some game developers should have thought of a new way to change the game in their sequel and not just make another one to try and make more money.
I think that I'm too young to appreciate these. Started on the first one and it was a bit too slow...Today's adventures are like Mass Effect :)
I agree that collectables have come a long way. I used to see only small things added to the game to make it a collector's edition. Now, though there is everything from artbooks to specially made consoles. Collector's editions have changed over the last few years.
I'm a bit sick of Mario myself, but the gameplay of the games keeps on attracting!
I think Kinect should try and find some 'character' that people associate with it like Nintendo has with Mario.
I hope the Star Wars Kinect game is half decent fun. I don't need a game to be 'hardcore', just has to be fun.
All these exclusive levels to PS3 and 360 just annoy me. I remember when a multi platform game was just a game and came complete without needing constant patches or pay more for content and were more or less the same (well PS2 versions sometimes looked a bit worse and only had 2 controller ports for multi, but that was all).
Funny...mine is in getting repaired for RROD too...but it's an older model.
It is good to see that the big game companies are raising money for charities. If more companies started to raise more money that would be good for the real world.
