4 more days of waiting...
:(
I didn't feel that way. Dom had been fighting his way to get to Maria and save her from the locust and when he does find her, he "sees" her as Maria and without injury as he lets himself fall for such an illusion of safety and a happy ending. Dom's need to visualize this is even more marked by the loss of his kids on E-day. However, Marcus brings Dom back into reality and the scene becomes grey and dark as Dom realizes the truth and sees his wife for the state she truly i...
Even though the Gears stories are overshadowed by the multi-player, I actually found the Dom and Maria's cutscene from Gears of War 2 to be quite good.

Haha, msn is owned by microsoft and I'm sure whoever wrote this is bound to get fired. Watch out, Peter Nowak.
Anyways, my pre-order is already locked in and ready to go. I can't wait till the 20th!
Look at the title.
"CONSOLE exclusives"
Eh, he's probably just creating multiple accounts and agreeing with himself. I really don't see how that many people can agree with those statements.
I really do hope so, but don't call of duty titles also have 2-year dev cycles since treyarch and infinity ward [ a shell of its former self] respectively release CoD titles two years after each developer's title?
Dude, seriously....gtfo. I don't usually say that, but your comments warrant that remark.
Wow, a 9 from EDGE. Great score and I can't wait to kill me some glowies and take down that damn locust queen.
Awesome comparisons. I especially like how epic has improved the facial expressions over time and have delved into a more organic feel regarding environments in gears of war 3.
Honestly, what are you trying to achieve with a comment like that?...
Other "Xbox only" sites have given the game ~80s, so I don't see what you're getting at.
"i remember number 1 and 2. Not very well written, why should this one be?"
Well, improvements are possible throughout a franchise. And it doesn't hurt that the lead writer for Gears 3 is Karen Traviss.
Just ignore the reviews. I feel if you really want a game, you should just experience it for yourself. All reviewers are people with an entirely different set of opinions.
Great reviews, though I'm picking this game up despite what any review says.
It's just reviews. I've learned over time to just get the game if you really want it and see for yourself.
I honestly hate how these websites, just to get hits, twist and turn over the words taken from developers.
Besides, the author can't even spell things right:
“I cant tell you how many Horde Mode clones there are out THEIR."
And it's ALLUDE, not ellude....
"ELUDING to Call of Duty's use of it..."
Yup, this was written by a kid.
Oh, well. I wish it was longer, but at least the hardware is compelling.
Damn, that comparison looks really impressive on consoles.
Honestly, for only 20 bucks, this is going to be a steal.
I wish we could get it as a physical copy though.
Yeah, I agree. I think it's just the insanely high expectations some reviewers have. Either way, I'm ready to blow away some glowies come the 20th.
