Damn, that actually looks pretty awesome. I'd definitely use kinect like that. Now, if only ms could reduce kinect's price tag a bit.
"no it shall fail to many halo games"
-what does that even mean?...
Well, his 6 bubbles are evidence that he makes better points than you, Shanks, with only 2 bubbles.
Haha, that was hilarious. Loved the extinguisher song.
I don't understand how this got approved...I mean, the other one just recently got approved. Do some people not have good memory on the website?...
Since I'm going to be playing Gears 3 for quite some time, I think I'd buy the rainbow skin. My little sister would love it as well. A little sun-cheery rainbow to go with the red gore.
Really, those screens look spectacular.
Great interview. The footage with the corpser in beast mode looks insanely fun.
There has to be more to it than just a tweet.
I think you've got the Gears franchise confused with the Call of Duty franchise.
Video-game industry has recently become a giant soap-opera.
The way I see it: Jim Sterling gave the game an 8/10, became defensive about all the criticism for the score from the comments and wrote a dedicated article about not crying about 8/10 games, and then published an article around cliffy b's answer, an answer that cliffy b stated he joked about, in an interview that wasn't even being held by destructoid and made a huge deal out of it.
If you want to thank anyone for all of this and taking cliffy b's joke out of con...
I agree that scores are given too much weight. I feel it's just best to judge yourself by experiencing it. If you really want a game and it looks interesting and one that attracts your attention, you should just ignore the reviews and see for yourself.
Though, if you're on a tight budget, I can see how reviews can come into play.
"So this article is about Jim not being happy with Cliffy giving his opinion about not being happy with other people giving their opinions..."
haha, awesome quote.
I think Jim Sterling is the main driving force who is making such a huge deal out of 8/10 scores. First, he gave gears 3 an 8/10, then wrote an article about how 8/10 scores should not be taken the wrong way and that people shouldn't complain, and then he takes such a simple joke statement from cliffy b and turns it into a flamebait article.
Personally, I just hate Jim Sterling. He's a fat ass and he acts like a kid.
Pretty nice tribute. I hope I don't get too distracted by that awesome tune.
Sweet, it's been a long time coming.
I don't feel the frostbite 2.0 engine is the only engine "to talk about." Call of duty's engine is known for excellent 60 fps gaming, Halo's engine is known for its sandbox gaming and open environments, and frostbite 2.0 engine sure looks to be stellar in terms of destruction and visual attainability. However, that doesn't mean other engines deserve to be ignored.
Very nice artwork and I do like the large-scale war they're going for in MW3. I just want mw 3 to have a cohesive and good story and maybe with changed developers, they can accomplish that.
Yeah, I'm getting the same.
