As much as I know I'm going to love this game, I have to be honest I don't care for the open world aspect, I just want to play the game like always an get to the point of the story they're trying to tell. That's metal gear from me.
If the end product satisfies enough people, like with anything since ever, it will not go away. Just understand that you don't need to like everything.

Reviewers and consumers have mixed taste in video games, it's nothing new. So don't know why this one game brought out World War 3 in everybody lol

That game was mildly fun playing with a friend (demo btw) but it was far from perfect or even good lol but fun enough with a friend.
How did SO actually do sell wise? the game seem like an interesting concept, curious to know if a lot of Xbox owners actually bought it after some (not all) being cocky over getting an exclusive from a once Sony only developer.

Still hasn't felt the same since then, only a few games were able to recapture the magic last gen. Now this generation is starting off alright so far, but only time will tell what games will be like by the end.
They and others wanna be a game console so bad, but why? nothing is going to change about how the majority of people like to play video games, at least not for a decade or two from now.

The Bouncer is one game that needs a remake..
The one special perk about the ps2 days was some of the cool Japanese titles thet got localized in North America that weren't another JRPG.
