No doubt the 360 hardware can deliver still, MS has just dropped the ball by not retaining top tier first party devs, such as GG and Naughty Dog. They have focused more on XBLIVE than in house game development imo

I believe it's real and will happen. Microsoft has spent the last 4 yrs on trying to grow market share and XBox Live. They are a software company, why wouldn't they want the best looking games

Sony waited too long to drop the price imo. I'm glad they finally did, it's a fantastic system. As far as catching XBox, I dont think there's much chance, and even if they dO, I dont think MS will care much, they have to be happy with Xbox and now 360 sales up against Nintendo and Sony. I thought they would have been out of the game by now.

Gotta give props to MS. Being the new kid in the console gaming industry and hanging in there w/ Nint and Sony has been an accomplishment.
Carmack just tells it like it is at the current dev. stage. Hopefully the XBox version's frame rate wont get gimped to match the PS3.

I think better looking games are on the way for the 360, its only a matter of 1st party devs creating game engines designed specifically for 360.
All those great looking titles for PS3 have been done by 1st party devs with proprietary PS3 game engines.
Hell, multiplats like Bayonetta, AC 2, MW2, LP2, RE5 all look better than 360's best exclusives. Someone needs to light a fire under MS 1st party collective asses
