This writer has a very closed view when it comes to rest of the world. Nice to know he had such a good experience with Xbox 360, but that system didn't beat the PS3 in over all sales. Dark Souls medieval fantasy has always appealed me more than Bloodborne's Lovecraft setting. I loved BB, but the story confused me. DS story seems like a primordial fantasy, like a tale from the Simirilian by Tolkien.
I'm pissed at the special snowflakes that can't get it into their head that you need to work at this game, get better through experience, it's not handed to you easily. So many people have take up the challenge and now enjoy the game, immensely. Sure there's a stigma about the game being hard, but if your goal in life is to whine about things instead of taking up the challenge head on, then you're going to fail in more things than just playing the game.

Probably yes, but it's the type of game I have no problem repeating because it's so much fun. There's still always enough variation though due to the good AI and multiplayer interaction.

This lame argument again. It's not an elitist attitude, it's people not wanting the game changed because the challenge is intentionally set by the developer to make the game great. This article is crap, but I do agree that Microsoft has been killing it over Sony when it comes to the free games of late.
I personally wish it could return to turn based combat, that would be a true return to form. This just looks like a button masher to me.
There's also the other side, those who are not getting this on their preferred console, who will try to be negative with every comment or rating. Not because the game isn't any good, it's just because they want Sony to fail no matter what. It's childish, but it's how this console war has turned.
