Please enlighten us as to why Sony gave up on the all powerful Cell processor?
Seems the real morganfell and stood back up and shown is colors once again. Just like all the rest....can't stand seeing a positive x-box related article and felt the uncontrollable compulsion to come in spitting venom all over the place. I have been on this website since 2006....they really need to change the title...."drama for gamers" because there is very little news it appears these days. Without getting overly complicated....Electrical components are designed to operate in a certain window. Most of the time they either have power or they don't. I don't get were people don't think this is gambling. It is the same exact mechanic. You pay money for the chance you get something back you desire. With traditional gambling that would be more money, but in gaming it would instead be some item you want.....be it cosmetic or otherwise. Not quite sure....I don't see anything in the title....and there was no mention in the article. So what does Driveclub have anything to do with this article? .....other than being used as a band-aid for one's ego.
I figured it would be pretty obvious the cpu, gpu, and memory would change. I was referring to the vector cooling and other optimizations they created with this console. But with comments like "exact same architecture that PS4 had in 2013" it's pretty obvious where your response is coming from. If that were true there would be no difference in performance.
Although this is considered a mid-gen console it is more likely a test bed for the next gen console.
It will be interesting to see if the Sony dogpilers will be equally critical in the Sony threads when it happens with their games. Stay tuned.
