The Wii U is a good system just as the Wii was but when you do a poor job marketing the system and concentrating on the controller it is to be expected that things won't go well.
The name is a further mistake because the brand is Nintendo not the Wii name as they tried to push, giving graphics that are 2 generations behind and then you bring a next gen console out with current gen graphics but next gen price is poor.

No idiots can stop going on about Nintendo going mobile and mobile as a gaming platform for serious gamers are a viable option. Just over half of apps don't get a look in anymore because of how many people jumped on the band wagon.

The wii u version for me was most enjoyable.
Considering it had been out nearly a year on the major systems I don't know what people were expecting. This will launch on all systems at the same time so I'm sure the numbers will be different
Until they have decent controls I don't think they are going anywhere. Graphics and shallow experiences has never sold games.
