They are far from a comeback, and everyone at Sony knows that. Business representatives always are quoted for adding a positive spin on things. Then here on n4g.com it's flame war time. OMG Sony is getting arrogant again. It's stupid. n4g.com is like fanboy war land.
That shows that's it's not all about power, so yes maybe the PS3 can last pretty long, even after XBOX 720 comes out. A lot of things can change, how much more graphicly powerful would XBOX 720 be compared to PS3? Are graphics still even the way the go these days? Look at Wii. No one can really predict the future.
Before it was that graphics would get better and a system was outdated. But this gen things are changing, you see Wii and PS2 still outselling the next gen hardware. What the hell would the XBOX 720 be like? Better graphics again after 5 years? The AI and gameplay was all the same.
I'm not gonna fall into the hype again of next gen, I already saw graphics are only sighlty improved and the AI and gameplay is all the same. People are still choosing Wii and PS2 these days, it's about qames not graphics.
It's seems good that more PS3's are selling on ebay. But also a lot more people who bought them retail are also selling them. I think you can look at it both ways. I don't pay much attention to ebay sales because of this.
This game looks amazing. Count me in. I'm a big fan of box art. I won't own any game without the box. This box art looks very cool, as interesting and anything else.

Blu ray is great. HD is the future of home entertainment and gives people better than theater quality in their own home. All Blu ray does bring movies to high definition. This is a good thing. This really has nothing to do with gaming. Fanboys chill

If you own an XBOX 360 and you're holding a grudge against Blu ray that's just stupid. Halo is an XBOX game but a movie is something totally different.

I agree with the dude aboved me. Will casual people even be informed about this? I have no doubt GTA 4 will sell more on XBOX 360 than PS3 because 360 has a larger userbase. The price point is the main reason that a lot of people settle for 360 over PS3. Especially when people see it's getting most of the same games. But is this extra content gonna sell XBOX 360's? I'm not sure about that.
I mean PSP's been out long, and people know it mostly has downsized PS2 ports. Plus it was only cut by $30.

This has nothing to do with gaming. This is just good for Blu ray and High Defenition. Blu ray can deliver amazing resolution and it's good to see HD going more into the mainstream. HD delivers better than theater quality picture right into peoples houses. HD is the future of home entertainment. As for HD DVD, most people know it's a lesser product that Blu ray, why would people go with HD DVD? That's why Blu Ray has more movie studio support.
Look at those trucks, they represent the PS3 logo and colors. black and red doesn't seem like the most family friendly stuff.
Developers can't even make games that match XBOX 360, and PS3 is $200 more. $200... that alone is what most families can afford when buying consoles. That's why Wii is making a killing.
It's not right for Gamestop/Eb games employees to go around telling people that PS3 and XBOX 360 are the same thing, just XBOX 360 is cheaper. So if you go to Gamestop and they say good things about PS3, it could lead to more potential buyers.
