That magazine has gone down the drain. There issues are getting slimmer and slimmer. Maybe it's just been lack of gaming news.
Look at all the hype around this game!! They have to compare it to Gears of War, Call of Duty 4, Halo 3. I think in the end when the project is done it's gonna own all those games.
The hype is just beginning for Killzone 2. Between now and winter 08, there will be new updates and new impressions of Killzone 2. If the game delivers on the gameplay also, I think it could rival Halo as the Mega franchise. It's off to the right start.
If it does come to consoles. it would probably be on both PS3 and XBOX 360. I'm not gonna be a fanboy, some argue that PS3 has some special untapped power, others say they are full of crap. So who knows.
I myself prefer the PS3 over XBOX 360 because of 3 reasons PS2, black, and Blu ray player. I can start renting movies in High Definition already, becomes huge when you have an HDTV.
They will talk about the controlls, I think they are still being toned up right now. They will either say that the controls take a little getting use to but are good or the game will get average reviews because of the controlling. It seems that's the issue with the game right now.

Uncharted is looking great. The guy who is playing it however looks very confused. I'm not sure if the Pirates take a lot of bullets or if he's just missing a lot. I've seen some of the programmers playing the game and it looks more impressive when the player knows what they're doing.
They try to knock Killzone 2 down, but most people aren't buying it. Gears of War is an awesome game where the characters and textures really shine but the gameplay is a bit overrated. The games enviroment is more pre rendered than XBOTS care to admit. But Gears of War is in the past already and the game did wonders for XBOX 360 during last holiday.
Killzone looks very good also, the character animations and enviroments look almost cutscene like. The atmosphere is suppose to be...
They are different types of games. Gears if War is third person and Killzone 2 is first person.
Are they comparing the fun factor? Killzone 2 isn't out yet, but I certainly liked How you can ready grenades and stay covered. I heard someone talk about how cool the covering system is on Killzone 2, it's all from first person view.
Is GTA IV exclusive to XBOX 360? I don't think so, so it doesn't really matter.
All I know is that Microsoft looked kinda stupid showing off the same exact trailer we have already seen a bunch of times on both LIVE and PSN. Peter Moore even had to comment " I know we've all seen this before" but not on a screen this big.
Peter Moore isn't even dry yet from laying the smackdown on PS3's performance in Japan, and now he's gonna be working with Sony and all other consoles with his position in EA.
And if he knew already that he was gonna step down, why was he so aggressive in the past few days, talking crap about PS3 sales in Japan. Why did he care so much?
Me being a PS3 fan, I saw Peter Moore as public enemy # 1. This guy really seemed passionate about games and about trying to bring as many games to the XBOX 360. I personally thought Peter Moore was busting Sony's balls.
Can a guy just change like this? What was all the trash talk about and the tattoos and all that? People compare this to Ken stepping down but Peter Moore I thought was doing good, unlike Ken.

I played Gears of War, never does the game look like that during gameplay. Anyone who has played the game knows that.
Just look at the first screen shot, which looks more real? The Killzone character animation of someone reacting to being shot or that Gears Of War guy who has blood coming out all over and is still standing up straight?
I choose 2 of the Gears of War screen shots and 2 of the Killzone screen shots. One of the Gears Screen shots is questionable to me. The last one, I played the game and I don't remember the game ever looking like that during gameplay.

Same reason why MGS4 is staying PS3 exclusive. Finacially it might be a good idea but tradition and loyalty are what kept MGS4 atleast a timed exclusive for sure.
Final Fantasy has a lot of tradition as a Japanese franchise, and has been about having a signature console. Like I said, I think unless PS3 is failing and Square really has no choice, I don't see FF on 360.

Get the fact straight first of all. PSN is getting better and better. HOME is not gonna cover everything LIVE does, but it's gonna introduce an aspect of it's own that LIVE doesn't have.

Personally, I like the idea. Ever since they dropped price to $499, I wished they still had the 20GB so they could of dropped it to $399. I would like to end up seing the 80GB for $499 and a 40GB for $399.
I just think anytime there can be a PS3 sku for $399, it's a good thing. PS3 needs every possible option to try to get closer to XBOX 360's price.

While, I no longer believe even official sony news, ever since they have plain out denied Price drops when it was true. I don't think this control thing is real.
So I don't mind this, atleast it's to the point.
