another person that needs reading comprehension classes.
so many PS3 fans in the 360 section? I know there's some good things in the PS3 section, maybe you guys should actually go there and check it out. Maybe?
Cost was never brought up in the article because that's not what he was talking about. You could never find a game made in a year that was on par with ODST. That's quality work on a limited dev cycle and I don't care if they're using a slightly tweaked older engine or not. It's impressive what that small group of guys did in a s...
And where have you seen one American here say they had a problem with it? Have you seen one?
Oh that kind of makes you look dumb doesn't it? I apologize sincerely.
it's a game. Why would anyone be offended or upset?
And the Obama comment was out of place and uncalled for. I don't like his ideas and other things to do with him, but I don't wish for bad things to happen to him. And it wasn't necessarily racist. If a black guy said that about Bush, would it be racist? Not everything is racist just because he's black.
and thought it was great. Probably not for everybody, but what I played seemed like good fun and pretty funny. With money being tight, I may have to rent it, but I do want to play through it at some point.
why is it in the 360 section? This is a PS3 article. Just because it mentions the 360 doesn't mean it belongs here. (And don't lecture me about 360 articles in the PS3 section. That's wrong too)
Why encourage the morons to rage out about their beloved console of choice?
I have 4 bubbles because I confronted some anti-360 trolls in an ODST story. Dumb mistake. they far outnumber any amount of sane people around here. I knew I'd lose bubbles. And as far as Jinxstar's bubble count; it doesn't concern me. I can't control that stuff. I just use my four to say what I think. I don't need 10 bubbles to make my point.
Back to the topic at hand, I'll be honest with you all and say that this game is probably not worth 60 bucks to someone who isn't a Halo ...
something that was pretty funny, to people whining about MMA and claiming it was the guy playing off his "real" freak out. You people on N4G never fail to be full of yourselves. It was obviously a planned joke since the guy he went after was practically congratulating him on pulling it off (with that hand shake/hug). A real freak out wouldn't end so abruptly with such a quick fix.
Oh forget it...you guys go back to whatever you were doing. Funny video and sweet ball pit...
It was worth it to me. I've been having a good time. Firefight is different every time and pretty challenging alone. Have not finished playing campaign. I play with my gf and we haven't had time to finish.
Great fun so far for us, so to me, it's worth it. I couldn't care less about someone elses opinion. Something that is always lost with people on this site. Just because you didn't like it, doesn't mean the game sucks and isn't worth the money.
that you never played ODST. It may be shorter than the other Halo games (by just a bit) but it surpasses the rest in terms of pacing, story telling, and environment. Well worth the price to anyone who enjoys good games (or just an FPS fan).
They're hiring for a job. They're making the job attractive (or rather the recruiter is). I don't really see the issue. It's what a recruiter is suppose to do. People should really chill the hell out.
I could not agree more, but they will obviously not move on. We have all paid 60 bucks for a game with less content. The first Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Bioshock (long campaign, but that's it). But it's Halo and it must be hated and destroyed.
And the original reply to this story, the first guy, got it completely right. They should've cut off comments after that.
Bungie guys play a lot of games. After all their profession is to make games.
Oh and the article itself is stupid. Not really news worthy. "Breaking news! Developers play games and aren't brainless fanboys"
those are the worst comparison shots I have ever seen. If you're going to do a comparison, you should at least have good photos that show the same thing in each shot (Or the split half/half like some do).
It was a general statement about people that get uptight about a low review score. It's not directed at either side in particular (at least neither side was named). Reading comprehension fail for you.
Back on topic; Your blog shows that on average they score 360 exclusives higher than PS3. I'll give you that. I don't think it warrants all that you went through with looking up the numbers and all, but I commend you on the effort. Edge has an opinion of a game just like any other ...
flip your first and last statements and you have the evolution of the PS3 fanboy. Congrats.
the fact that Brudvig is a known Halo fan. He did the review. The other two are not the biggest Halo fans. It shows the readers that Brudvig isn't being biased, the game actually is quite good. (that's what I think at least)
It's like NowGamer justifying their low score. No one complained then. (except a few crazed 360 fans)
Kojima is being a smart businessman by exploring all options in selling more of his creations. Anyone who knocks him for not being, "loyal to Sony" or "becoming an xbot" is a moron.
what the man can do with the tech. He's incredibly smart and would probably use Natal in a very good way.
you can call me impressed. I don't think it was but it wouldn't surprise me. That's another dev that always turns out quality games. If you can turn out that kind of quality in 1 year then that's awesome for the gaming community. More great games with less waiting.
