This is what the gaming industry has become. Even after making a bazillion in sales even R* cannot ignore the lure of extra cash from those who are stupid enough to pay real money for fake cash just to get ahead in buying guns and cars.

I think these features along with the snapping and resizing of overlays and apps whilst you game are going to be very well received. I like the idea of having a walk through or guide available in a window rather than use the iPad as I do now which is also fine but I'd rather use that for a companion app.
I can see myself using custom soundtracks, IE with a collectors guide and maybe twitter all open with a game whilst using a cross game group chat. Sometimes my gaming bud...

It is free but the quality of the titles could be a whole lot better given how much cash MS has. They can't have spent much on these really. I'm a little dissapointed.

I was hoping to see power consumption and PSU figures that could be useful in determining the performance of the internal components vs what Sony have claimed - evidence if you will and a clue to the CPU clocks.

It bloody well is a clone. That's obvious to everybody. Even the media refers to it as Sonys answer to Kinect. The original eye toy on ps2 was a totally different proposition. The PS4 camera is designed to provide the same functionality as kinect and Sony are adding software features to mimic its other OS related uses.

Oh that's ok Albert. It doesn't matter too much, I'm not worried. You guys have great form with the UI. Its a changeable thing so I'm sure you will change several times during the X1s live span as you did the 360.
Just make sure the thing plays games really well out of the box and you can tinker with the UI to your hearts content.
I don't buy a console for its UI but if you can include a good one that would be nice - cheers :)

You are getting a lot of disagrees which surprises me as essentially what you have said from a business standpoint is correct.
Devices are evolving. Sony is doing this as well. 360 is good evidence of evolution. MS is worth more than Sony. MS did triple their market share. Sony did lose nearly half of theirs.

Another thing made to look like the end of the world. The smear campaign against MS these last few months is unprecedented. Even Sony didn't get this much sh*t before they released PS3 and that had plenty of issues as well.
The lack of tv feature in Europe is no different to Gaikai not being available at launch. Both are advertised features that are not ready in time.

Interesting isn't it how most of the time people are throwing insults at each other on N4G yet when something like this comes along the boundaries of platform suddenly are no longer important?
Most if not all here seem to feel the same way which is revulsion.
