THWIP- I don't agree with you that much but on your two posts on here I completely agree. It's a rehashed Gamecube with minor upgrade in processor speed, GPU, and a new controller. It's just Nintendo milking the cashcow at this point, like they usually do with their Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Advance SP, Gameboy Micro, Nintendo DS, Nintendo DS Lite, etc... They know how to milk something for all it's worth. Now that the third party games are out of the way for the Nintendo launch, everyone ...
What a stupid bunch of comments above. I agree with Lance_Leon_Lionheart, can't we just enjoy video games and get away from the fanboy bashing back and forth. Too many fanboys on here, maybe I'll just have to go back to being a lurker or not looking at this site anymore. And what's with no moderation lately on comments? There are lot of comments on here from both sides that are spam and none of them are being shown as such.
Right, if it's broken and you'll have to call them, why not try hitting it a little... :) Not sure if I would have the guts to do it if it were my console, but I was seriously laughing at work when he hit it a few times. Like someone said above, probably a bad connection inside.
Killzone was an over ambitious title for the PS2. I think if they a) had more power to work with, and b) if they had delayed the game to work out bugs that it would have been a much better game. The issues with repetitive speech and a lot of the other issues were blamed on the lack of RAM in the PS2, and basically just not having enough horsepower under the hood. If it had come out for the Xbox, I think it would have gotten a lot higher reviews because Xbox was more powerful.
Hahahaha! Best post in a while on here. Nice fix, I bet he's one of the only people who had the guts to hit his Xbox 360 after the red lights of death. Then again, after you try everything, I guess it wouldn't to just hit it a little and see if it helps. :)
Actually, the average for Resistance: Fall of Man is over 9.0 and I believe closer to 9.5. Also, the PS3 did not have the worst launch lineup according to 1UP. The worst launch lineup was actually for the original Playstation, then the Wii, then the Xbox, then the PS2, then the PS3, then the Dreamcast, then the Xbox 360, then the Gamecube, then the N64.

Halo 3 isn't out yet, neither is Killzone PS3. How can you judge Killzone PS3 but someone else can't judge Halo 3? Both games will look great, let's leave it at that.
PS3 is very capable of delivering graphics equal or better than the CGI trailer at E3 '05. Quit spamming and saying every post that " CGI trailer shown at E3 2005 will never happen." Of course it won't happen, there's no reason to put out the same CGI trailer. But there's a good chance that it will look as good, if not better than the E3 trailer.
Why would they release the info to a foreign site when there has been no info released at all from Sony on this game? I'm sure they're working hard on it and trying to get it to measure up to the CGI trailer shown at E3 2005, but to put out this info prior to any info coming out about the game sounds bogus to me.
I agree with what you're saying. I agreed with some of the points, but it was way too harsh. It seemed like the whole time he was trying to find any little thing that he could possibly think of that was wrong with it.
Joystiq being Sony fanboys is definitely a new one for me. They're just saying some things that they like about the console. They have many different articles talking about what they don't like. I never thought I'd be defending Joystiq, but that's besides the point.
Why having the above good features are a bad thing, I don't know. Most of the issues you all are mentioning above will be fixed in later updates I'm sure. It took MS a while to come out with the background down...
Good interview. Looks like a little different kind of rally game than Motorstorm, IMO. This looks like more of a rally Sim, versus Motorstorm is pure arcade. Both will be fun, but this will probably be a little more realistic. Those draw distances are insane and the detail in them is amazing. The textures are looking pretty good too, nice engine.
Oblivion won Game of the Year, so maybe it means that they actually believe what they're saying and that it's as good as their rating indicates. I don't see why Game Informer giving it a good rating or saying that it's a killer app means that the review was paid for. Usually that's fanboy talk for "OMG I CANT B3LI3VE TEH P$3 GOT A GOOD R3VI3W, 1T MU$T HAV3 B33N PA1D F0R!!!111
News about the Microsoft Zune has been posted many times on here, and it has nothing to do with gaming. I don't see why you have to get your panties in a bunch because someone's talking about Microsoft.
Most likely you're using an internet browser to look at this site. Seems like it's applicable to me. If we were going to compare word processing applications that would be irrelevant.
Me either. The new Firefox edition is great. The new Internet Explorer is ok, but still slower than Firefox and still not as good as Firefox in my eyes. The tabs in Internet Explorer are just not as easy to use as in Firefox.
They rated Gears of War 9.5 as well, did Microsoft pay them?
Sounds very interesting, kind of like Army of Two with the co-op play. Looking forward to more updates on this game. I think that Guerrilla is a good developer, they just pushed the PS2 to more than it was capable of on Killzone. That and I think people built it up too much as a Halo-killer. Either way, I'm looking forward to more news on Killzone PS3 or this game.
Hey, I thought your previous comment was good as well. I'm a little more on the Playstation side but I definitely respect the 360 and have nothing against it. It just doesn't appeal to me as much as the PS3. But yeah, Gears of War does have better graphics, at least as far as textures goes. One could arguably say that Resistance has better graphics because it has much further draw distances, but that would be stupid because I know what you mean. The textures are clearer and more high-res...
If I feel that Nintendo doesn't have the right games for me, that they have quirky, mass-audience friendly games then that's my opinion and I have a right to one as much as you do. Similarly, which is more of a gamer, one who plays Metal Gear Solid, Halo, Zelda, and Final Fantasy, or one that plays social games like Dance Dance Revolution, Wii Sports, Solitaire, Nintendogs, etc... Maybe when I say real gamers, I mean hardcore gamers and not casual gamers. Essentially, I consider almost eve...
