Its not that the platform that dislike his work, there is a bunch of gamers on that platform that dislike his work. Its not fair to throw all the other gamers under that under the bus.
When you dont like his work, dont buy his games. If you like the guy thats fine. I dont like him also, but a generalising all gamers on a platform is wrong.

Sony is not like Microsoft who have franchises that are from the Xbox and xbox360 and are on the Xbox One and will be on the Scarlett. Those games have so much sequels and will have more sequels till the end of Days😉
I like the style Sony more. Not milk a franchise till Kingdom comes. No, 3-4 sequels and than giving the gamers new franchises with the risk they could flop. God of War is an exception, but the game changed so much, its not like the older GoW games. But...
