I am looking forward to this one, played the first one to death but knowing that only 25% of the game is point-to-point rally racing makes me wanna cry.
And the reviewer(s) is/are not afraid to review this game despite the hype. I think people are fully aware of the Uncharted 2 review fiasco not so long ago that "deserving-AAA" titles that can't go below (insert score here) because they are biased and such. Reviewers may take the wrong notion that they should be pleasing the public instead of being consistent or fair in their reviews.

It's unfortunate that yet another CoD game comes out where it's extra modes (Zombies in WaW, Spec Ops in MW2) outshine the main product for me. That said, I will enjoy Spec Ops for a long time to come!
They misunderstood ps3 owner's perception. X360 had l4d in november . PS3 has MW2 as the only Fps this fall so definitely lot of ps3 owners would be picking up the PS3 version of MW2. also i expect MW2 to push more ps3s than x360 since the ps3 price cut is doing wonders for SONY
Activision has not done anything innovative. They milk Guitar Hero to death... however, I'm glad u didnt see IW didn't innovate, because new games really don't HAVE to innovate. I am loving MW2, but yes, Activision as a whole is disgusting me.
It's a shame that guys like From Software (demon's souls) try really hard to make a unique experience, yet do not get recognized by even half of the Activision crowd.

The casual gamers that the industry people are talking about are not really casual gamers they are in reality fad gamers they play what ever game and system happens to be the "it" game/system of the moment. And like all fads they don't last long and by the time a company comes out with their next game in the series those fad gamers have moved on to what ever the new fad is.

I just want FFVIII, is it really that much to ask for? I mean yes I have the PS1 version since launch, but I would really like to play it on my PSPgo.
