PS will still be king with or without COD just like they were before COD existed. It is xbox the trailing platform who needs COD the most.
Good thing is, we all be here to see how this gen ends.
No problem at all, they were king before COD and it will continue to be king after COD is no more on the platform.
The real question is:
Will this deal make XBOX the new king/market leader/most platform with hardware/software sales and more subs than anybody? since it's obvious they need it more than Sony.

That's normal when your competitor (360) released a rushed (RROD) console to the market 1+ yr before because they knew it was the only way to have a temporary advantage over PS3. Enix chooses PlayStation because that's where most of the games will sell as usual. Bethesda chooses xbox because Todd has always been in bed with MS/Phil and received a big a$$ check and that's business as usual.

You can keep loving it all you want but nothing will change or do you really believe that if this deal goes thru MS will suddenly become the market leader and the platform with most hardware and software sales.
MS needs way, way, way more than activision/Bethesda for that dream of yours to become a reality. Keep hoping and loving it tho;)
This whole legal drama about ''show me this and show me that '' thing is kinda fun because at this rate, it won't be long before they ask/force MS to reveal their hardware sales figures from this gen and probably last one and that will certainly shock their fanbase. That'll be fun to watch.

Lol, well you're kinda right since he's been working on DS2 aka his baby and I say his baby because it is his main priority plus when I saw the tour he made of his studio in Japan, everything inside is decorated with Death Stranding and all that stuff. Amazing studio by the way.
