If you look back to the release of the Wii in 2006, Nintendo did the same exact thing. They held a conference in September and provided all the details at that time.
They've got a conference scheduled next month where we'll get all the info. I don't know if it's necessarily a reason for concern. They're just sticking to the way they've done things in the past.

I initially was very interested in this title, having been a Super Smash fan and all years ago. I don't typically like fighting games, but this brawler had my interest piqued. However, after spending some time with it first hand, I have to admit that my interest in the title waned considerably. This article explains to you why.
