The thing I don't like about plus is the fact new games won't be on offer straight away, so do I buy them when theyre new or just hope sony puts them on offer soon? It will just be annoying when a month down the line sony is offering them either for free or at a discounted rate for plus members when I have already purchased them and am a plus member.

They really should've thought about this before releasing the ps3. Not having access to the xmb from launch is the dumbest thing ever. Whoever decided you have to quit a game to send a message really needs firing.

Well it is, I know alot of people who won't buy a ps3 simply because they have this feature available on live. You obviously enjoy typing messages on a ds3 or dont have friends
You guys that think that x game chat isnt necessary either A) have no friends, or B) are blind fanboys that say it sucks simply because sony dont have it.
The old excuse of I phone friends if I wanna talk is dumb, if your playing different games and want to communicate you shouldnt have to pause the game to write a message with a controller or make a phone call, you should be able to talk directly to them.

The DVD as it is, is now old tech in the world of high definition. With things like satellite tv, direct downloads an blu-ray giving users the full hd experience to go with their expensive hd tv's, the dvd is now outdated.

Yeah your probably right but I just cant decide whether to subscribe, because anything from the store I like I would normally buy straight away so when something I like becomes available on PS Plus I would probably already have it.
But it does offer alot of value and a couple of good features (auto dloads etc.) But I just think if they had've done say 25% off everything old or new to PS Plus members it would be alot more apealing
