For those still waiting for a solution/fix, Microsoft already revealed that the issue was the internal clock bugging out because of the leap year, and that every Zune should work again just fine when clocks roll over to January 1st, 2009.
Are we talking about the same Dead Space here? It didn't really shock anyone; anyone who saw the game at events, saw its numerous commercials, or read previews expected it to be awesome. It's not like it came out of no where without any previous coverage or hype.
Lots of games have dropped their prices the last week or two. They just haven't upgraded the database for the new prices yet. At my local gamestop the stickers on boxes are reading 54.99 for used copies of PoP, but they're selling for 36~ or so when the clerk scans them, the same price for every used 40 buck game.
Let's be honest: Microsoft's certification wasn't the only thing holding this up. Several games have put out patches within a week or issues coming up. Did the MS certification take some time? Definitely. Did it take most of the full four months we've been waiting for a patch? Probably not.
I'm glad there's a patch and I'll finally be able to play the game I bought four months ago, but I will not be buying any of Behemoth's games on day one again. Probably wait a week or so to m...
Looking at the higher res images, she does appear to have some blemishes. Your body comments stand, though.
Normal in that she could theoretically exist somewhere, I suppose. Average or even remotely average? By no means.
Then again, I don't know why people always get so upset. It's not like the guys starring in games are ever slightly overweight 5'10" guys, which is the male average in the US according to the last study I saw. Guess guys just don't mind unrealistic presentations of themselves as much as women do.
I had no idea you could put PSN games on your PSP like that.
Is it for every PSN title, or just PSOne ones?
If they REALLY want to screw over the eBay guys, they'll release Suikoden II!
How's that make this any different from any of Game Daily's "one paragraph per page" lists?
It's not as awesome as Suikoden II, but I know what I'm going to be playing this weekend.
Yeah, Microsoft announced this on November 23.
In fact, the show is already up to episode 4 of the second season on the 360, Zune, and MSN.
Seeing how much money the people running companies pulls in for themselves while the company flounders in debt and risks closure isn't anything new... But I get extremely upset every time I see it happen. Especially when it's put in perspective in terms of how many people lost their jobs recently, and how that could have changed.
Come on, achievements for Phantom Dust!
I can't help but wonder who will come up with the achievements, though. Are they going to ask people originally involved with the games to decide them? Do they have in-house guys deciding them themselves, etc.
I wouldn't have submitted it if I saw that other one. Unfortunately the title didn't exactly come up when I tried searching for a few of the key words...
So if we figured out this guy's new gamertag and gave him some more death threats, he'd change his GT after each and every one of them? That seems to be a bit of overreacting, don't you think?
With every awesome game that comes out on the iPhone, my bank account months in the future cries a little.
There's a single- and multiplayer demo of the game on Steam right now. I highly suggest people download the demos and try them out.
I keep hearing about awesome games on the iPhone, but I REALLY don't want to buy one. I guess I'll wait until A) I get more money, and B) I see if the trend continues.
I played the original version of Braid on PC a few years ago, and it was my first experience with the game. So I'm really looking forward to experiencing the final product on PC when it comes out.
Good news for Mac owners, too. Too bad Sony still isn't interested...
But how could they have known that things such as leap years exist!
