You probably went to a better college, have a better job, and drive a sports car too, huh?
It's nice that they took down the vids and all, but it's not really about respect. It's about not wanting to piss off Sony even further. They already posted vids of a code that was under embargo from doing that, and the apology is likely just a way to have people see their apology publicly, so Sony can't write them off or blacklist them now.
In a way it's rather brilliant. It's not entirely new, but it is the first time I've seen a bigger gaming site do it. Usually only the smal...
I agree. I really do think the only drawback the last two Persona games have is how much of a time investment they require. They're masterpieces and everyone who likes RPGs SHOULD play them, but it's also incredibly hard to find time to devote to them when you work 40+ hours a week and have a family.
I'm still going to try each and every time a new SMT game comes out, though! :)
I LOVE Sarcastic Gamer, but come on, guys, everyone had those joke Photoshops done when the teaser site launched. Where's all the original stuff?
To make a good RPG in this day and age you do not need to try and aim it specifically at a market you don't fully understand. Make the game the way you know how to make games, and it will succeed. Just look at Persona.
"Wanking" would be my guess.
I have a feeling most of the fanboys around here aren't quite so rabid outside of N4G. I've seen people post extremely fanboyish comments in certain articles just to get agrees and bubbles, and the next day I'll see something they wrote that goes completely against what they already said.
Just like a lot of websites use fanboysim to draw traffic, commenters use it to get bubbles.
Of course, there are still some legit fanboys out there, and to them I say just calm d...
I've been enjoying this series. I used to love going to arcades back in the day, so it's fun to be reminded of what used to be.
Never knew colleges had such big arcades, though.
I hated those beggars. Especially on the docks portion of the game when an ill placed beggar would cause you to fail.
But it was so satisfying throwing them into the ocean...
A 26" version may be coming, but I doubt it's going to be nearly as "low" priced as this one is now.
I think the better question is "Will it be BAD bad, or the kind of bad that's fun to watch and make fun of with friends?"
I'm betting on the first.
I like Ben because he's a nice guy and all, but I hate him because every time he reveals a new completed project I feel like my last several months have been such a waste of time.
There's a remake included with the game. The actual new game is a new story, though. Originally I'm pretty sure it was just supposed to be an upgraded remake of Butcher Bay and nothing more.
I was hoping you were joking, but the comment bubbles lead me to believe otherwise. Please tell me it was just hard-to-detect sarcasm.
You forgot "This will be the fastest Sonic game since Sega had a console."
Don't tell me you're one of those gravy people...
I hope it's a brand new title, but as far as I'm concerned any game that gets the Wii's general audience to try something new like Mizuguchi's works is a good thing.
I loved this. It reminded me of all the times I would go to arcades with friends back in LA. Of course, I had no idea 7-Eleven ever had arcade games like that, but the experiences are mostly the same. Aside from the whole Soup Nazi-esque manager, that is.
The early screens and information ruin the game for me. I wanted a full Ready 2 Rumble sequel, not a boxing game with 18 celebrity parodies including Simon Cowell and Shaun White. Where's my Afro Thunder!
If we keep seeing stories about the new Blu-ray discs we're going to need one just to store them all!
(And that is why I'm not a comedian.)
