They added new remasters for the soundtracks, behind the scenes videos, and a lot of little quality of live improvements. I think 20 bucks is a more than fair price for what you get.

Same for me I have ps4, Xbox & switch connected. and have psone,ps2,ps3,xbox360 in storage.
I don't have the space for each console hooked up to the tv.
And it is really just my personal opinion, I see psn & ms store the same way I look at GOG & Steam.

Do I still use my old phone/ps3? No....
Do I still want access to my files/Games? Yes...
If I upgrade my PC I expect it to still run my games. Same for the console if I upgrade to a better model I expect it to give me a better experience or at least equal than before.
Fair enough but that is still bad for the consumer, and therefore something we as customers have no reason to applaud.
It should be a basic service to be able to have access to your bought content in the same ecosystem.. just like pc.
To play the classics, you still have to give/given them money.
That does not take away their ability to sell people a better version of the games they love.
And I for one do care. MS BC is a big plus point for them ...

I haven't, that's the point. I have a couple of games I love to replay to this day. I should be able to still play my digital bought games on current sony systems don't you think? Hell, even the vita supports psone games.

Well that depends, series X should give Ai upscaling, frame rate I belive depends if the game originally is able to support 60fps or run unlocked. But it should run at least the original frame rate at a solid pace with no dips.
Your 360 en Og games will run and look better than before, but that does not automatically mean it will run or look better than a remaster. It depends on the amount of work that has been put into it.
