Im not to bothered about this game but if it really is problem then they really should just forget about the 360 version. I love my 360 but its not really fair the Ps3 owners get a cut backed game because of it.
At the end of the day im a gamer and would rather have it cut from one format to be utilized better for the other.
Last gen Microsoft had it as standard and Sony said it was a bad idea, now its the other way round.
I dare say they will be standard next time round on all machines, i just hope the mandantory installs are not.

I should imagine they will sell over 30million 360's. The last xbox made most of its sales in its last year and a half when it was cheap. the ps2 also has sold more in its last couple of years than it did in its first 3-4 so the 360 should easily surpass the original in terms of sales.
end of 2010 seems a good time to release the next one, that will be a five year cycle which is about right. And people will still buy the old one just like they do ps2 at the moment.

I think Msoft have brought some great new franchises to games like Forza / Mass effect /gears but only one of those is first party.
As much as i love the xbox games and i would have to give first party props to Sony. They do have more first party games and plenty of strong titles.
Mass Effect2 and Forza 3( or an add on disc) hopefully for next year along with the squad based Halo game hopefull.
I used to love Gt but Forza is the better game now. Just is.
Anyway this looks ok, vids look solid but it has stiff competition in the racing market. Think we need a demo.
Looking forward to tyring this out. Whether it will be as good as the racing king Forza2 is another matter though. Speaking of which i thought there was an add on disc coming for Forza, what happened to that?
Having real lag problems with the beta, its rendering it unplayable. When it is working the game seems solid, bit like ghost recon mixed with rainbow six. Enjoyable but prefer recon out of the two. Look forward to the whole game though.
The last thing i need on my console is an internet browser. It pointless as everyone console owner who is online probably has a pc anyway. I tried the browser on my ps3 but its slow and fiddly using the pad. consoles are for games, browsers for pc.
trouble is they would get more sales releasing it at a time when biggies like gears weren't competeing for there money.Silent hill is great but theres now way the majority of people will chooses it over Gears or resistance.
Why do game companies insist on releasing everything in Novemeber. Was going to get this day one but will be picking up gears2 and tombraider/ resistance2 up around this time and won't be able to afford it till next year. If they would have released it now when theres bugger all out it would have got more sales, me for one.

Didn't they same the same thing with the launch of Ps3 even though the 360 had been out a year. The next gen starts when the first machine is released, this sounds like the same Sony we had in 06 not the Sony we have now. Sony doesn't need to be arogant.
What it sold more on 360. If Sony are the master of the market how come there still in third place after 2 years?
I love the ps3 but they did lose there way a little. Luckily there getting back on form but there still a long way from the highs of the last gen.
Im talking about marketing and decisions here. The console itself is great.
I would rather them make a great single player game with heavy rain than spend time on multiplayer.
The story is the important thing with games like this, same as the forthcoming alan wake and silent hill. Some games are just meant to be played on your own. If bioshock had have included multiplayer you can be that the single player game would have been effected due to development time and budget.
Im starting to think the ps3 will never catch up with the 360 in the USA now. worldwide is a different matter though.
