The poor sales for this game just go to show that the masses of gamers out there are sheep, that are too afraid to stray from the pack, so stick with COD 10 or Fifa 11 over a totally original, awesome game like this. PSP2 will have such an awesome back catalogue of games that they won't really need to worry about any new games. They have PS3 hits such as Killzone, Resistance, inFamous, MAG, Ratchet, Motorstorm, Call Of Duty, God Of War, etc,etc, then we have literally hundreds of quality AAA+, AAA, AA and A games from the PS2, and the same kind of starting no.s from the PSone.

People saying the tech is old, and that PSP2 games will be dated due to the old tech are a bit naive. I mean theres no way a reasonably priced handheld unit with the very latest specs at that time (right before manufacturing begins) could possibly be done. For many reasons, like:
1) The machine would cost an arm & a leg.
2) Theres actually no point in talking about it, as it takes A LOT of time for companies to be able to shrink the components down to a minia...
The 3d tv's out at the moment that entail you wear glasses are limited, and weak ATM... Performance drops on games when 3d is involved on console games, things like resolution take a major hit, and frame rates can be cut in half, and this is proper stereoscopic with silly looking glasses and all that all the Hollywood bigwigs are using.

I love it. I always liked the psp phat, and hated the successor in the psp go. The Go was too small, therefore the buttons were shit for adult sized hands. Whereas the original PSP was the perfect size, and feel in the hands, with the perfect sized screen for a handheld. I don't know how the slim was comfort, & button layout wise, but with my 3000 model, my fingers never got tripped up hitting the wrong buttons (due to them being so close) like I did with Go the 1st time I touche...
Actually Elite, as a lifelong console gamer, I just want my console to play games of the quality or the Mass Effects, Unchartered's, Gears, GOW's and the like on a bigger scale, eliminating more of the stinkers like movie tie ins. And basically what they are doing with online gaming. The cd, dvd and blu ray movie playback is a nice benefit that I would not change and see now as part and parcel with the modern console.

Of course you should be able to mod the crap out of anything you have purchased, as in reality as it should be, it is yours to what you like with. You paid for it, so it is yours without question, and I can't see how the law can state anything other. But, if you mod your product, and are caught using it for illegal purposes then you should be pinged to the full extent of the law for it.

I also thought the 2nd Resistance was overated after my 1st playthrough. I then moved onto the online, and thought Resistance 1 was a better experience all round, I then traded Resistance 2 for that reason, as I thought it was way less great than the 1st. This question can be asked of any high rating, popular and/or high selling game. But the fact is that this game series is absolutely awesome and from part 1 to part two, jumped from a 9 score to a 9.5, so if part 3 is any better then I will have to score it a 10. The online multiplayer in part 2 is excellent and adds non-stop replayability to the game.
