If we have to have controllers like this next gen, Sony should just do a psvita re-design, that is a slightly bigger version with bigger more DS3-like analogue sticks, also big-a-fy the face buttons more to ds3 standards, add either 2 more buttons to face or 2 extra shoulder buttons, & then just work it out so no compatability issues whatsoever....and importantly, a bigger, better, longer lasting battery, & possibly some kind of battery saver mode when using it with PS4.....Not sure h...
What about games lineup, b/c, & peripherals....like will the Wii's motion controllers be useable with the system & games. It would be nice to see the controllers put to some use, as otherwise Nintendo are just proving that motion controls were a 1/2 gen fad & total gimmick that were never really used innovatively in any game on Wii, & now never will. The whole Plasma fiasco really hurt Sony, & I think there 1st mistake internally was abandoning the cheaper plasma option for there consumers. I don't see the need for Nintendo to have 2 seperate pieces of equipment....in this day & age, why couldn't they just make everything run off the tablet, so you either run through bluetooth wirless or something through tv, or it just comes with a little infrared unit that plugs into your tv?
I'm sure it will eventually be canned for development on wii-u, & will be moved to PS4/Xbox Next. Ubisoft don't just halt production on games in the Tom Clancy series for nothing....Between Sphincter Smell & this, they along with Rainbow 6 are there key milkage brands in the shooter category. Obviously, wii-u is struggling to run the game, simple as that....there wouldn't be any other reason Ubisoft would halt a cashcow like this.
Screw that, if true, that will equated to $650-$750 in Australia. I will wait for my PS4, unless the price in Australia is more in line with $500 & then after it drops down to what it's other current gen. compares are selling for, I may buy one...although, considering by that time PS4 WILL be on store shelves, I think I'll give Nintendo's machine a big wide berth this time.

So, the true innovators were Sony for adding another stick, which was a massive failure on the supposed innovator of the industry, Nintendo's, part.
