That's actually pretty darn impressive. How do you one-up cross game chat? With Cross-platform chat and cross-platform play! What a great month for the PSN already. 1st full-on console MMORPG/MMOAG in DCUO and now Steam and all its cross-compatibility..
Umm, wow! Where did this come from, it looks awesome!
Never been a Motorstorm guy mainly due to the controls which are looser and more slippery than games I'm used to, like Burnout, but this looks like something I need to try. Driving on falling buildings, helicopters/airplanes/trains falling down around you changing the course on the fly, this could be in the buy pile pending a good demo.
The MOVE patch WAS hell (I've even considered deleting it afterwards), but if this guy was half the insightful genius he thought he was, enough to be writing for a website ffs, he should have known he COULD SKIP THE PATCH and go straight to the game.
He should also have known how much space he had left on his HD beforehand (MOVE patch was 2 GB) just as a common sense thing, unless he never plays his PS3 which is probably the case if he bought the Heavy Rain DLC and neve...
Kratos can't die. He'd just crawl back up from Hades like he always does and make the Reapers rape themselves. ;)
@Persistantthug
I agree with you 110%. Imho...the gameplay in the demo was not very engaging. I never saw my enemies' eyes once. Everything was long distance pop 'n' shoots. The weapon/item wheel thingy was confusing and counterintuitive too.
Team mate AI hasn't evolved since Freedom Fighters. They still fall more than they help. An insane amount of dialogue to listen to as well if you don't wanna miss anything. Half the game is talking, so much...
Then it wouldn't be an MMOAG. That's...kind of the appeal.
You're a doomsday lemming, along with the ambulance chasers pimping this article. It runs fine. Server "Justice" PVE already has a HIGH player count on PS3 as do BOTH PVP servers.
It's running better than COD does at launch, Battlefield Bad Company 2 is STILL broken from Vietnam, and no one can ever play the new BioShock 2 maps to this day without boosting. Troll on them.
@deadreckoning
XBL Gold has no lifetime subscription. PC version of this does, makes it cheaper in the end than $60 Cdn a year forever.
There's a difference between having to pay $60 every year just to access online gaming that is free everywhere else...or selectively paying $15 or $30 for just one MMORPG and being done with it when you beat it.
Gold forces you to pay to play for almost everything that's otherwise free. Even L4D DLC. If DCUO w...
@Petro
The franchise looks just fine. Definitely not worse than MAG or the new Twisted Metal (what I've seen of it).
I wouldn't be bringing up Bad Company 2 right now either, considering the game's been broken ever since Vietnam came out. Purty graphics don't ease the pain of losing earned weapons, unlocks, ranks, and kills 'n' trophies not counting.
I'll take Resistance: FOM's stable 'walmart' one hit kill...
@deadreckoning
It really does look punchable, lol. He looks like he just smelled his finger. :p
Opening doors was painful? You go down with the stick and then go back up. If that's painful to you, I'd hate to see you try to open a door in real life lol.
@thats_just_prime
Proof? There's tons of it. The half billion was even quoted by non-gaming news sites like CNN forever and a day ago. Then you say Sony spent 5 BILLION (?!) on Move? Lmao, do you even know what a billion is? I swear. Some people's children... :p
Pretty spot-on article imo. All the titles listed bombed in the truest sense.
@donkeydoo
1)They still avoid the issue, and the questions I raised. That's their lack of credibility. They still don't acknowledge the frame drops in that personal email. I guess if you ignore something long enough, it doesn't exist, right? lol
2) They're wussies if something as tongue-in-cheek parody as 'Lens of Lies' is enough to make them cry.

Something here doesn't add up. Why? Because Capcom more recently released Dead Rising 2 on PS3 where you can patch yourself from the PS Store, for free, so that you can play with others who have the Sports, Ninja, Butcher etc DLC costumes.
Capcom guy is complaining about SF4 not being able to do that, yet here's Dead Rising 2 doing it since day one. It's clearly not a universal issue between Capcom and Sony. There's more to the story.

A good article by Kyle.
Funny thing is, I actually had significantly more agrees than disagrees before they broke out the perma-ban slap-gif, which only served to slap themselves.
If anything good comes out of this, hopefully it's that people will come to expect more quality assurance from the sites soapboxing about quality assurance.
Digital Foundry/Eurogamer has technical analysis' (GT5 for example) that are just so thorough, in...
@chilled2m
...and yet my wife loved it and played it herself. My wife > your wife! Neat. :)
Wow, two articles in one day. The game MUST be good if butthurt hurtbutts are still talking about it almost a year later, deperately trying to unpopularize it as if to hope that the sales or metacritic will start going in reverse lol.
They're like that one guy at the airport desperately trying to get people to join their nu-religion or go vegan or some $#&*, never realising people have already made up their minds a long time ago and don't wanna hear it.
People forget that there's 6 mentors though with different stories/missions, plus seperate storylines for good guys and bad guys like inFamous but more detailed.
That's at least 60 levels. 30 for one good guy (Batman), 30 for one bad (Joker). More if you want to go deeper (Superman, LexLuthor etc).
