notice he said "for us" and not "for the gamer" or "for microsoft"....
any butthurt comments would probably come from gamers who purchase Kinect and then vent their frustrations on the internet.
well, that's what normal gamers would do. my followers buy bad hardware and then keep their mouths shut if they know what's good for them =)
a reliable source!
i'm back!
this "Jon Burton" is clearly a Sony "fan", and was paid by them to make such statements.
maybe he should cut down the amount of lag it takes for his brain to signal his arms and legs and stop blaming us...
a true Microsoft consumer will learn to defend our product while paying us to do so....this Burton character certainly has a lot of consoles to send back to us before he can reach this level of denial...
Selma? I bet his 360 is named Sellme...
My poor customers: they never learn =P
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is the best game I've ever played
who cares about all these "numbers"....what the consumer needs to believe is that we are #1 when it comes to home entertainment value. Not the value for the customer, that is. The value for us as a corporation to get money for every aspect of your gaming life: cables, memory devices, wifi, online connectivity, batteries, more cables, live points, you name it, we sell it.
Games don't need to "win" anyone over, they just need to be fun.
Whenever you hear or read that a ps3 game "won someone over", that means they've been one of my loyal customers, draining their wallets into scratched disks, faulty hardware, snap-on overpriced accessories, and full price $60 expansion packs.
This is basically battered wife syndrome. The poor, battered wife (my customer) gets abused until something comes along and wakes them up, give...
Unfortunately for my fellow 360 customers, this game is coming to the ps3. Since we have no exclusives of our own until the next generation, all we have now is "perceived exclusives".
What this means is my customers think Mass Effect 2 and Lost Planet 2 are exclusive, however once these games are released, they will be multi-platform (which they are already, because the PC is a platform...but don't tell my customers that!).
Our strategy is simple: give our ...
Name one of our accessories that has ever retailed for under $50...
That's what I thought...
it's becoming uncool to hate on the ps3, so we are shifting our attacks over to the psp go, even though we touted DD as the future.
it's the kind of double standard only my customers would understand...
"Natal", the abortion of the industry
Why wouldn't the Unreal Engine be the engine for Natal, it's the only engine our system can run...
Our research focus groups show very positive responses for "Natal", in fact our focus group personnel have assured us that they will purchase an Xbox bundled with "Natal" as soon as the product is available at retail, even if the MSRP is $599.99. Actually, our focus groups are always eager to tell us how good our products are...must be the free 5 star hotel stay, complementary buffet dinners and free Xbox live points.
Anywho, our own paid media outlets have sh...
A quick look at the pending articles reveals that my checks to certain media outlets have cleared...
See what a little money paid to G4TV does?
What Xbox gamers want is more games period, cause this is about all they are getting in 2009...
unless they buy a ps3, of course...
And then there are people like me who use lies and propaganda to mask the failures of my company by paying media outlets for reviews, setting up deals with CBS/Viacom worth half of a billion dollars to get sites like Metacritic, Gamespot, and Cnet to give my games better reviews and criticize Sony for every single thing they do.
Is Uncharted 2 worth the wait? (it's 2 weeks away)
Is the PS3 slim worth the price (it's the best deal out there)
Yet they keep trying...
That is part of our strategy...we are constantly ignoring the world so my followers think we are winning the console war...kinda like what Hitler did right before Germany fell...
Anyhow, we at MS are aware that we could crap in a box and sell it all day long. We have *rabid* loyal consumers who will stop at nothing to buy the latest failing hardware at top dollar...did I mention the Kinect sits comfortably on top of an HD-DVD add on drive?
It's just one m...
