Lol, that would be hilarious. But seriously, with the videogame medium taking off in Hollywood circles...you can imagine someone signing up to a game sequel and having someone play through the previous games for them to give them a recap.
Oh yeah, almost forgot about that whole issue...very glad it has been put to rest.
Agree with you both there. Metalhead here too. This game's gonna be great!
Well, I've tidied the article up a bit. Enjoy!
Well, I quite liked their response. That's their home and they are happy where they are at right now. Crytek, meanwhile, aren't handling the situation as calmly. But as the article says, the ban is more aimed at the likes of Crytek.
Yeah, but Force Unleashed was also a solid game. I'm talking the quality of the game. Just because it sold millions, didn't mean it was the best Star Wars game ever. I think Batman will be the same.
I'm not going to be buying it soon, but I will probably pick it up budget.
I'd have to agree. I hadn't seen anything like Spiderman before at the time. It was fresh and, most certainly, fun.
Not so sure about this one now. It did look good, but not so impressed now. =/
It's not that most of them are absolutely terrible, it's that we have so high expectations for them after seeing them on their intended medium. If it was made as a movie first, it's probably going to be better as a movie. Just like movies based on video games aren't all that. Exception to the rule is The Chronicles of Riddick.
We shouldn't forget the old Spiderman games though...
It does look good, but the game is clearly carrying a lot of hype. I'm not sure if it will live up to that hype. But it's clear it's definitely going to be, at least, a solid title. =)
It's looking good for the Bat!
I think their reaction is very German. Crytek's reaction is of a multi-national developer.
It's not looking good for the 360 version. Thankfully I just got a new PC. My friends are interested and are PC gamers so...it is disappointing, but I'll still give it a try on PC.
That's why the article says "as we at least know it". The real concept for the PS3 is not a known quantity.
Oh I don't know. The PS2 made sense because of the brand's power but, as you say, it wouldn't sell under the PS3 banner. But I don't think anyone should underestimate Sony. I'm sure they are well into developing a smaller, cheaper version of the PS3 - whether that be PS3 Slim or not.
Interesting research. It would seem Sony responded to the rumours with their own version.
Hats off to the visual style. It was a bit of an eyesore at first, but soon became very quirky to me. =)
Not that Metacritic is the end game or anything, but it has 91 on there...argue all you want, but that's a quality score.
