I don't love Halo as a series, but I respect bungie as developer. I hate MS as a game company and that is the real issue. People don't get it that PS3 gamers respect 360 devs but have no respect for MS. MS is a plague on the industry.
Assassin's Creed II is a good platinum. There's only one you can miss, so it very possible to platinum upon game completion. The feathers aren't as much of an asspain this time, to scoop up. That was my 4th plat next to Fallout 3, Borderlands, and Uncharted 2.
totally agree. metroid prime, half life, and bioshock aren't first person shooters, they are First Person Exploration Adventures.
Oddworld is the best series ever, at least in my opinion. But Abe can get a remake from the originals with SligStorm added. His story is done...Unless there's that "mother" incident. other than that lets move on with the quintology Lorne!!!! And please do remake the first two in HD, keep them side scrolling but show Shadow Complex and TRINE that you guys did it better then they do now,....over 10 years ago.
wow, that's a high score. I'd give it solid 9 though. It is such a fun game with lots of nostalgia and replay. Everything is a gameing reference from cheats to hidden secrets. only needed online play...

Epic Mickey really isn't a kids games. So I hope when moms buy it for their 12yr olds they actually understand the story. This is a deep game and I highly doubt anyone under 20 would understand 80% of this games history. This should go to PS3 via Move where more adults game on.

Bungie is a great Dev. The whole ODLC issue was MS milking the franchise. I am not a huge Halo fan but everyone should respect Bungie cause they are one of the most fan loyal companies around. Wait to see what wonders are coming from them multiplat. Yes Bungie = AAA, however Microsoft is a horrible publisher. They kill ever franchise they acquire minus the few great dev teams such as Bungie.
I'm army and the Gamestop on post called me this morning to tell me that the garrison commander has stated this game is not allowed to be sold on an army installation out of respect for the soldiers in Afghanistan. So my preorder was canceled.

Bioshock was an amazing game and a shooter, so it worked on the 360.
Mass Effect barely peaked two million on two systems. Still a great game.
But the 360 demographics is american...kill kill kill and action. All that story and originality nonsense holds no ground.

Wii has a phenomenal line up of games, but suffers on hardware, app features, online, awards, visuals, replay, mature titles that sell. Most hardcore wii games are under 6-8 hours at 100%.
As badass as Snake is, an old killer hired to do some wet work, it's cool you can go through the whole game without killing anyone.

Burnout damage is cool and all, but you got to keep a bit of realism here. When you wreck enough in GT5, your done. You have a totaled car that you need to repair and retune. That's why I'm taking extra care of my premium rides.
I'd say I'd you want cars that explode like madness and still the ability to keep kicking ass in the race, wait for Motorstorm Apocalypse
