It was (semi) 'proven' on many occasions that failure rate was far higher than Sony claimed acceptable limits for electronics - hence the reason for the Watchdog special & the separate BBC news investigation - do some research.
With the faulty YLOD, Blu-Ray & FW update failures the PS3 was easily on par with 360 failure rate.

I've had 3 PS3's since release all with YLOD all sitting in a completely open space, although my room itself does get quite hot.
The fact that it was investigated openly several times including TV's 'Watchdog' etc indicates it was a much bigger problem than you claim. Not to mention the Blu-Ray failure rate.
I had as many failing PS3's as I did xbox 360's. Both were built very poorly.

Some people need to learn how to read. It clearly says the playable demo was taken from an old version that was only 35% complete.
Come on people, the articles only about 2 paragraphs long. Read it properly it even says that they're releasing a more current build demo soon.
Since when were these confirmed as Diablo? It's not linked to Blizzard on any of their sites & these videos don't make any sense of connection with the game at all.
When they crashed to windows & had to be reset from a desktop pc locked up in a box below that wasn't even running on anything near XBone spec hardware.

I think you underestimate people. I've owned every console released in the UK since the mid 1980's & have absolutely no intention of ever buying the XBone at all & ive heard similar things said from others.
Its the only console I've never had any interest in. Thats not to say I want it to fail because without competition the console industry will crumble to tablet mobile game standards & no real gamer wants that!
