Can't wait until this game is is my hands.
Co-op would be cool. But I'm not tripping. It's a first day buy regardless.
Last gen, I owned all three consoles, and it was too hard keeping up with everything that was going on on all three, both time-wise and money-wise. This gen, I made an active choice to only own one. I chose the PS3 because it had more of the features I required.
Let the fanboys fight. Hey; you gotta do something for fun when getting laid is an impossibility.
As for the rest of us, we'll just play the games.
Exactly my point. Halo 3 paled in comparison to games released around that same time . . . BioShock blew it out of the water even. So it's no shock that KZ2, the most graphically impressive game to be released on a console PERIOD, destroys it. So no need for the comparison.
I also approved it because despite my thinking this guy's opinion is totally idiotic, it was still a legitimate news story. Although I made seem otherwise, I don't approve things based on personal opinion of the news. If it's legit, I'll approve it. If it's not, I won't.
100% agree, man. People whine about games being all the same, and then whine when a game isn't like another one in the genre. There's just no pleasing some people.
Halo 3 didn't have great graphics when it came out in '07; it's no shock that KZ2 destroys it. It's a comparison that's unrequired.
I approved this simply because I thought the article was funny as hell.
"Firstly, the language is going to be an issue."
It's an M rated game, you idiot. You want less colorful language? Stick to Super Mario games and shut up.
" In addition to the cursing the movement of your character was slow and tank-like."
It's called realism, Chuckles. This ain't Unreal Tournament.
"If they could have adapted the...
That would be because people actually are BUYING PS3 games faster than they can stock them. Pay attention.
This isn't even a story. Some guy just quoted Sony and then asked a question. It's a decent message board post, but it is NOT a story.
How can you argue with fact? Japan seemed to have no trouble figuring this out. Level 5 made it, they bought it. Beginning, middle, end.
Looks like some of you need to catch up.
It's a buy. Why are we still debating this? Level 5 makes a RPG, you buy it. Period. I don't see why this is something that needs to be discussed.
Looks like it might be a goos rental, but a little to basic for my tastes. If everything you come across you can kill that easily, including a tank, then where's the challenge?
Nah, I'm just going to stick with inFamous.
What's up, man? Good to see you. You going to be on PSN later?
Some you pay for, some is free (like the RE5 shirts), and some you earn through in-Home games (like the IceBreaker or echchrome gear), and some you earn in gmaes outside of Home (like the Namco gear).
It's pretty much a 3-d chatroom with some games built in. I think it's great; I like just hanging out there with a few friends.
Home, much like the PS3 itself, is a work in progress. Updates will roll out that will add more services and features and very soon Home will be the place to be.
If you're still confused about the "point" of Home, wait until E3 and see what Sony does inside of Home. Things will become more clear.
I don't like RE5 because it doesn't play like Silent Hill.
I don't like Saints Row 2 because it doesn't play like GTA4.
I don't like KZ2 because it doesn't play like COD4.
What do all those statements have in common? THEY ARE ALL TOTALLY IRRELEVANT. RE5 isn't SH, SR2 isn't GTA4, and KZ2 isn't COD4. People are just going to have to accept that....or do what any gamer with common sense does when they don't like the controls; CHANGE THEM.
The only time I ever needed to interact with Sony customer service is when my launch PSP wouldn't read UMD disks after a week. Called them with my information and told them what the issue was. They said they would have to get back to me and someone would call me in two days.
Two days later, I got no call. I did, however, get a knock at the door. It was UPS, handing me the brand new PSP Sony had just sent me.
On the third day, I did end up getting that call . . . ...
INSTANT FAIL.
