How many times have you talked to game developers about their games on a one-on-one basis? I have, quite a few times, in Home.
But my CPU monitor isn't a 42 inch HDTV. My PS3 monitor, however, is.

1 - So far this year, PSN has had 8 games released. XBLA has also had 8 . . . if you include the Fallout 3 DLC.
2 - On that point, I agree. More demos would be great, but the reason that every game isn't required to have a demo is because lots of PSN devs are small and creating a demo takes time and money they don't have. Sony understands that and doesn't force their hands.

Agreed. This game isn't my particular brand of cognac, so I don't see me getting too excited about it. But if they add that to some game I actually plan on buying . . . well, I guess that's a win.

That's true for most games, but not all of them. For example, in LBP it shows the game, the name of the level, and how many people are with them. Several EA titles also show specifics along with the name of the game. SOCOM does this as well.
