Uh-oh, fanboy alert. Yes, i am an MS hoe. Im not ashamed to admit it. I love Xbox, Zune and just about everything else associated with Microsoft. But that hasnt always been true. I used to devote myself to Sony and the PS2. But when i saw how much the PS3 was and what great games 360 had i made a transition.
There are a lot of reasons why the Xbox 360 is the best console out but ill give you a few that i feel are key. Now i have never played a PS3 or Wii so my view is extremley biased and close-minded. So feel free to laugh at my stupidity.
The Xbox Guide. The one thing that 360 has over all other systems. The guide gives us a friends list, the ability to chat with people, and to invite anyone on our friends list to any game, even if that person doesnt own the game. This is absent from other consoles. On those you have to use a code and typically you must know the person prior to them being on your list. I know that on the PS3 you must go back to the what we call a "dash" just to chat. This is why the 360 is and always will be, until the next-gen, the best community console.
That leads me to another reason the Xbox pwns, gamertags. For reasons I cant comprehend the Wii uses a code system instead of gamertags. I mean thats no fun! My g-tag is my identity, its almost a second name. Its xTHRASHx by the way. See i was gonna type in btw there but i feared you might think btw was part of my gamertag. Anywho i know the PS3 uses a gamertag system and thats cool but why dosent the Wii? I would hate to have to use a number as my name, thats really lame.
Achievements. Yes, i said it, achievements. I love the achvs system. It really influences to play a game or do stuff in a game that they wouldnt normally do. It opens peoples minds to games off the radar. But for the most part its competition. Most people will tell you that when the see someone with a 50,000 gamerscore they think that person must be hardcore. I wish that MS would do something with the gamerscore's. Like giving you 80ms points for every 1,000 G's or some kind of gpics for reaching certian levels.
This next one is the most important. The Xbox has better games. I mean should we really debate that? Yes the Wii and PS3 have a few great titles but look at all the EXCLUSIVES that Xbox has. The most of them are GotY contenders and some have won. But all of them sold huge. Ok so theres Bioshock, the Halo series, Gears of War, Mass Effect, oh and let us not forget the exclusive DLC for GTA4. Then there are tons and tons of other games that are just better on the 360.
And lastly Xbox LIVE. The Wii and PS3 have followed in the footsteps of Xbox. They have made changes to the format but the overall gist is the same. The vids, demos and arcade. All from 360. And LIVE is just better, now i can say i love paying 50 bucks for a service that is down from time to time but i can see why. There are 10 million+ people on Xbox Live (and yes i had to look that up). With that many people your bound to find someone playing the game you want ot play. And the fun can never end, unless its Christmas time... lol

Wasbir from NoobFeed writes: Relooted is a unique type of independent game because it puts as much emphasis on ideas and points of view as on gameplay. The ways you plan heists are creative, the teaching parts are well thought out, and the Afrofuturist setting gives it a unique personality.

Console Creatures writes, "There's a lot of variety and some cool new approaches to the beat'em up throughout Scott Pilgrim EX. The roster of heroes and enemies is amazing, and the adventure they go on is one only the Scott Pilgrim universe can truly provide."

Joy from NoobFeed writes: Crimson Capes is a big, complicated 2D action-adventure game that combines the structure of Souls with the energy of shooting games. The game's semi-open world, numerous playable characters, and complex battle systems make it a great sandbox for players who enjoy mastering it.
Well I don't agree on many of your points (like better exclusives on the xbox) it is your opinion and this is a blog by you so I approved it.
I suggest that you do get a Wii and a PS3... they all have something special to give.
When I have enough money, and some extra pocket change to cover an extended warranty, and the price drops 50 dollars or more, I'll definitely pick up an Elite.
I will also make damned sure that the manufacture date is less than 2 months prior to the date I purchase it.
Who knows....maybe 5th time will be the charm?
It goes beyond me that Microsoft fanboys even EXIST. I've had to deal with Windows crap ever since Windows 3.1, and every new Windows there's some glitch or bug or something that crashes.
Then the first Xbox was released and I never thought it would also be buggy and that would have cables that burned houses, but the problem wasn't so much that as it was the lack of japanese support. So though I was very enthusiastic about it, there weren't many games for me to justify its purchase.
Later, 360 was revealed, and all seemed cool except the lack of a Next-gen drive. That really made it look inferior to me, regardless of what PS3 was or not; I've always thought that when you upgrade a machine, you upgrade the whole, not just a few parts. Then the RROD stories started coming in, so I wasn't compelled to buy one. Then I was given a 360 on my 22nd birthday two years ago, so I thought "No console ever failed me, why would this one"?
Sadly, I'm on my fourth 360, a scratched Rainbow Six copy, my third HDD and very time I play my 360, it either freezes or threatens to RROD again, which is why I decided not to pay Xbox LIVE anymore. In a year my warranty will expire, so what's the point of still investiong on it? I rather wait for Xbox 720 unless there's no way one of those games will ever come to PC or PS3.
Right now the Xbox has better exclusives but the that will change within the next couple of years. Gran Turismo 5, Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone and Final Fantasy 13 just to name a few. I agree with you about the Wii friend code; that is just stupid.
I agree on some of your points. The wii code thing is retarded, not only is it a 16 digit code you have to deal with but also a different 16 digit code for every friend for every game. I currently own a wii and a 360. I will be buying a ps3 for mgs and might get the bundle if it includes the game with a case and not just a sleeve for it.
Exclusives will pretty much even out for the 2 systems within a year or 2. I still will buy 360 version of multiplatform games since im an achievement addict. Main point is if you only have one system and not the others you miss out on great exclusives
