Me here loves Insomniac. They are the best devs to date in my opinion. I mean really.
They pump out great games every year(or almost).
Ratchet and Clank
Going Commando
Up your Arsenal
Deadlocked
The Original(as in GOOD) Spyro the Dragon
Resistance
Resistance 2
Ratchet and Clank Future
Really, look at the metacritic scores for these games! They're maybe not 95 but there mostly high 80's-low 90's. That may not seem like much but to crank that out every year since 2003 is IMPRESSIVE.
Plus, what of this new "Nocturnal" open source project? Sharing how to code the PS3 with devs that consistantly put out great games is just showing how much they give.
Not to mention all the benefits they give to their employees. Seriously, pinpall, pizzas, massages twice a week, giant chess, I want to work there when I'm older!
Just giving props to who I feel are the best developers in the industry.

Total sales for Nioh 3 have surpassed one million units worldwide, publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Team NINJA announced. It reached the one million mark faster than any previous Nioh game.
Sony Interactive Entertainment's next console, the PS6, will not be digital only, according to former PlayStation boss Shawn Layden.
Not trying to be rude, but I think Layden has absolutely nothing to do with Sony for almost a decade at this point.
If this gen is any indication there will totally be a digital only PS5 model. Let's not kid ourselves here. There's going to be 2 SKU's again.
I would be fine with a BD drive add-on they started with the slim if it means more power for a more affordable price. better yet, if they allow it to use the PS5 BD add-on by default. it's not like the games run from the disc anyway, and it's totally doable. would be a huge win-win situation for both Sony and gamers
Vertex Zero has announced Silent Planet will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S along with the previously announced PC release.
Thats coo, but before you go and try to work for them you might want to get you feet wet a little somewhere else, EA, Activision or if you can get into a Dev besides Insomniac, that will only play to your benefit in the end.
I've been in QA for about 2 years and hearing the type of quality they are after still scares me a little. Theres no doubt in my mind that I can land a Job there right now, but on the current Project I'm in, I'm currently (along with 1 other) the lead tester on the PS3 sku.
But I'm the only one on a Devkit so, yeah after this project is Over I will have about 9 months of PS3 devkit experience to go along with the rest.
So yeah get your feet wet first, then go for the Job. It honestly helps keep you motivated as well, since they will most likely treat you better at Insomniac then most Pub/Dev houses and you wouldn't want to lose your job for that reason alone.
