Right, well setting aside Skyrim for a moment, I wanted to touch on another game that took up a good amount of my time. Recently, Activision released a reimagining of the classic video game, GoldenEye, on the Nintendo Wii. I remember picking it up a few days after grabbing a black Wii that was on sale and I couldn't wait to play it. I understood that it was a reimagining and not a remake - something that a lot of disgruntled gamers somehow allowed to go over their heads and down the block. Nevertheless, I am a huge James Bond fan, so this was a must-have for me.
I spent the next few hours of my day getting used to the controls and making a slow but progessive playthrough of the game. I liked it, but it was nothing special and definitely wasn't as good as the original. I digress - it's mainly because the game was only for the Nintendo Wii. I wasn't a fan of the "classic" controller and playing with the Wiimote and Nunchuck was harder than trying to teach calculus to an infant.
Later in the gaming world, Activision released another version of the game for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 aptly titled, GoldenEye Reloaded. I didn't expect much change, but I was wrong. Activision amped up the graphics, the tunes, and even the missions. I found the game to be that much more fun with better graphics and a couple of more missions that paralleled the original game. I was much happier with this version and I consider the Wii version a waste of the $40 I spent on it. I definitely recommend it to casual gamers and fans of first person shooters...especially considering it's a Call of Duty clone.
Oh, did I fail to mention that? Yeah, it seems like Activision is perfectly incapable of creating any other first person shooter that isn't a clone of their Call of Drab series. On the down side, GoldenEye Reloaded is basically Call of Duty with an espionage/spy theme, and Daniel Craig's voice and likeness. Lord knows how they were able to hold onto the James Bond license and EA wasn't - I liked the games so much more when they were made by Electronic Arts. They were actually wholly enjoyable.
Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed GoldenEye Reloaded for what it is. It's a James Bond game that's fun, has a gripping storyline (for those who haven't played the original or watched the movie) and with interesting characters (whom lack background information.) I remember reading a lot of comments from disgruntled gamers complaining that it's not GoldenEye because Pierce Brosnan isn't in it nor are none of the original characters' voices and likenesses. Well, let's see...Daniel Craig is under the Bond contract now, not Pierce Brosnan, so...
Let's use some common sense, yeah?

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

The charity event will be streamed live from Gamescom in August.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.
