Piracy has been an issue as long as games have been around, but considering the rising cost of developing games, can developers afford to ignore it any longer. In the past two weeks three major torrents have been leaked onto the internet: Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, and now Gears of War 2. The charity event will be streamed live from Gamescom in August.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.
Well it was even MORE common on the PS1 and PS2.. Did it kill them?? Thank you come again.
I think your right. You cant compare this to ps2 though because 100 Mil consoles does not compare to the 20 Xbox has now. Blu Ray now is safe option, and if the PS3 gets closer in sales, this might become a big problem.
definitely not
other consoles have been way easier to pirate and they flourished
average consumer isn't going to know the workings of 360 piracy, the only places it has any major effect are contries where piracy runs rampant like india and china
Now why is it that piracy on the PC is a huge reason people say games should be made console exclusive, yet when piracy is rampant on the consoles, it's no big deal?
No one liked a pirate stealing their games so you have a point.
