- It's the most magical month of the year. December? Psh, what nonsense are you talking about? I'm talking about the plethora of games that come out every November with the animosity to destroy each and every wallet alive. AAA games strut their stuff, either confirming or debunking the advertising that happened earlier in the year. So obviously we should talk about the big games that'll sweep away with 9's and 10's that will probably emerge from this month, right?
- Screw that, that's no fun. I'm here to bring light to the not-so-known, and even the games that we don't want on our gaming resume. Yeah, I'm talking about those games that you actually like but wouldn't dare bring up in a conversation unless you wanna be made fun of. But despite the hate that others may give these games, these games will always hold special places in our hearts as something that is good to pretty much just us. The world is diverse enough for all of us to have that mountain of games that are stuck in the closet for you to know and for them to never find out.
- But why not talk about it? Opinions are so different now that so long as you are well-mannered, talking about guilty pleasure games is great fun. You recognize that it isn't the best thing out there, but it was still a fun ride that you're glad you rode. And I'm not talking about the in-the-middle games like Destiny, C.O.D., or any other divisive franchise. I'm talking about those games that were panned across the board for being an abomination to mankind and are cited as the downfall of civilizations. But no matter how many people died in that downfall, the game is still fun to you.
- So I encourage everyone reading to do away with common sense and reputation and list the games that were crapped on by everyone else, but you really liked it. No judging, and hell, you might find someone else that enjoyed it like you.
- "But what about you, Mr. Knowitall?"...Do I have to? Aw...
- Nah, I'm just kidding.
- So what some of my guilty pleasures? Well number 1, I'm a big Sonic fan. And I'm not talking of the classics, I mean I genuinely enjoy the new games. Well, except for 06, that was one was a little too interesting. Anyway, one of my favorite games from the series is the PS3 version of Sonic Unleashed. Yeah, the one with the werewolf alright, or the "werehog" as it was called. I loved the speed and the combat of the werehog was pretty fun. I'm also a big world architecture fanatic, so the game being styled after different real-world locations was pretty cool.
- Another one? Alright let me think. Despite it's scores, I really enjoyed the game Murdered: Soul Suspect. I liked the idea of walking through walls and solving murders, and the setting in Salem was a first that I had seen, and I really wanna know more. The main murders by the Bell Killer were also extremely chilling. Unfortunately I haven't beat it yet, as I'm stuck at the mansion where there's 4 demons walking around and that gets real tense.
So what are your guilty pleasures? Forget integrity and let's express the games that no one but us likes. I hope you guys post some interesting ones and thank you for reading.

Total sales for Nioh 3 have surpassed one million units worldwide, publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Team NINJA announced. It reached the one million mark faster than any previous Nioh game.
Sony Interactive Entertainment's next console, the PS6, will not be digital only, according to former PlayStation boss Shawn Layden.
Not trying to be rude, but I think Layden has absolutely nothing to do with Sony for almost a decade at this point.
If this gen is any indication there will totally be a digital only PS5 model. Let's not kid ourselves here. There's going to be 2 SKU's again.
I would be fine with a BD drive add-on they started with the slim if it means more power for a more affordable price. better yet, if they allow it to use the PS5 BD add-on by default. it's not like the games run from the disc anyway, and it's totally doable. would be a huge win-win situation for both Sony and gamers
I wasn't too keen on the first FF13 but I enjoyed 13-2 well enough, even the crazy chocobo song that everyone else seems to hate with a passion. I also enjoyed what I played of X-2 as well, even the pop star aspects. I thought the dress sphere was great and a nice, quirky addition to the game. I love Deadly Premonition, though since that has a nice cult following so I guess that doesn't count. I thought the Sonic Spinball game was amazing, I think it's a great fit for the character and that it usually plays well enough. Same goes for Sonic 3D and Virtua Fighter 2 on Genesis.
I used to have a 32X and loved the Doom port on it, even without all the music and sound. I was a kid though, with no chance of owning a computer at the time, so that probably had a lot to do with it. I also liked the Virtual Boy, although I didn't own one I rented it a few times from Blockbuster and thought Mario Tennis and that boxing game were awesome. Just as an aside to redeem myself of these evils I had that Tiger red LED thing that strapped onto your head and I knew that was a POS as soon as I played it ;)
Even worse are probably the things I don't like. I've never really gotten a kick out of GTA, the game always felt like a joke that goes on too long to be funny. God of War a and Gears of War never really caught me either, just not much interest in either series, same with Assassins Creed after the 2nd one. I'm not big into any online multiplayer shooters, or even online multiplayer in general. Dark Souls 2 is the first game that really made me want to use online MP at all and man is that a great experience. Sports games lost me after the 16 bit era, sans the occasional Mario sports title or things of that nature.
That's all I can think of off hand, my gaming 'sins' are laid bare. Now you can commence with the pointing and laughing...
Skylanders. Actually bought it for my kids but I enjoyed too. It's a nice straight forward platform and I find myself playing it without the kids.
One game that I absolutely adored was deBlob for the Wii. Whimsical, fun gameplay, and a unique story that really pulls you in is enough for most people. Add a wonderful soundtrack, great graphics and a complete game with no glitches or bugs.
I got sonic all star racing for my son's vita. Yeah I got hooked for a minute.
Then we'll yeah pokemon with my daughter. She always runs to me to help her decide a new name for whatever she's caught
