Ever since it launched a few days ago, Playstation Plus has recieved mixed feelings among gamers. Some say that the content shared on the first day had already been worth it, while others claim that it is nothing more than a money-making scam, which will prove to be not as great as it seems rather soon. I have heard it all - that it isn't cheap enough, they deals are too good to be true, the content isn't that great, the features should be free anyway - Playstation Plus has been viewed from every single perspective, even those who don't own a PS3 rush in to give their two cents worth. Why does everyone see this so differently, only several days after release?
Even so, it is still hard to see Sony's angle in all this - did they do it to bring other people to the PS3, or did they do it as a "treat" to the fans? I think that PS+ is a great deal, but this early on, I can't say that for certain. Judging from the first two month's content plan, they will be off to a great start, but in the long-term, they will have to keep up the great deals and games - otherwise it might slowly erase itself from the network. Many people think that Sony will not hold up their end of the bargain, and the future for PS+ will only be crammed full of terrible games from the PSN's "reject" bin. Others suggest that this is only the beginning of a wide and excellent service, which will make every hardcore gamer's fantasy come true with free games, exclusive access to demos and beta trials, and much more coming soon. Sony have even announced that this subscription service shall evolve over time, which means more features will become available to subscribers in the not-too-distant future. This might even lead to cross-game chat, as it is a large possibility, and is viewed as the main drawback between Xbox 360 and PS3, but it can't be said for certain yet. Playstation is a platform full of secrets, and until we uncover what lies in Playstation Plus' future, we can't go around claiming things about it.
Now, I assume everyone who reads this has undoubtingly heard other posts, about how "The PS+ is doomed to fail", or "PS+ is the greatest service ever", and if you are anything like me, you would've laughed it off and moved on. Not as easy as it sounds though, as lately, these posts are everywhere, and are starting to get on my nerves. 'Who are they to claim what the service will become, after it has been out for less than 4 days'? There have even been comparisons between PS+ and Xbox Live Gold! Playstation Plus, I remind you once again, has been out for BARELY 4 days. It is laughable to even think about comparing the two, seeing as PS+ is only in it's first month of a monthly system, with more features to come throughout its lifespan. You see, it is pathetic that people want to compare it at such an early stage, it gives it a BIG disadvantage to customers who actually could benefit from it.Playstation Plus is supposed to be a pay subscription service that will maximize your PS3 experience. I'll bet not even half of what features are planned weren't included in its debut. I believe that if we are patient, and aren't driven by the console war to compare the services unfairly, we can see Playstation Plus' true potential as it flourishes and grows.

The Epic Games Store's weekly free game is dark and drear, and definitely doomed.

Lucky Tower Ultimate combines slapstick humor and absurd brutality to make for one of the most interesting roguelikes of 2026.

Diana’s Hide-and-Seek is an optional minigame in Pragmata that builds your bond with Diana at the Shelter and unlocks the “Peekaboo” achievement.
I think the service is great, and over time it will only get better. The only problem I can see PlayStation Plus having is if the free games are old games that people have already purchased. Other than that I'm all for PlayStation Plus.
