So. I wanted to rant and ask for help and see if anybody else is going through this.
Ok. Gears 2 is fantastic and it has been a wonderful experience thus far.
So when I tried to play against my fellow gamers...
It did not work... I tried every game type... for at least 5 minutes
on each one. More on others. And I never even found a team mate.
What the hell? Well I left it on players choice for about twenty minutes...
until i heard some voices on my tv. I went back to check and i was at the start of
a match! Awesome right? The match was a five against one and you guessed it,
the one person left. So... I do not understand what is happening? I have tried every day since i got it... and no dice. :-(
Your thoughts? Experiences?

My experience has been a mixed bag, but overall not too bad. I have about one lag filled match out of every 5, the game finding is taking around 2 minutes for me (which is still quite unacceptable).
But I agree that there must be something done on Epic's part to ensure that you get into a game much closer to home to get rid of this lag, and in the process speed up the whole procedure.
Me and my friends have noticed the lagg mY NOT BE ALL SERVER RELATED but BY CHEATING players looking to cheat the system! hitting the standby button on there modems! we have had people stand right in front of 3 of us and none of us could touch him and he would saw you even if you had your chainsaw revved up ready to cut him. Why do people have to mess up such great games by cheating!
