Crytek's newest baby, Crysis 2 recently released a multiplayer demo for PC, PS3 and XBOX 360. Never in my life as a gamer have i ever read so many negative reviews on a still to come out game.
But what is true and false about all the negativity of the Crysis 2 demo. Downloading and installing the demo myself was the next step to find out the trueth about the bad reviews.
Playing the PS3 demo myself, i must say i was highly dissapointed in playing the demo. i had high expectations for this game and they where not granted by Crytek.
A few of the most common problems with the demo where bad connections, laggy and the playability was not what i tought it would be. That and the unrealistic gameplay, especially when it comes to shooting and getting shot. Sometimes it takes 20 bullets to kill a player, sometimes you get killed by just one bullet and not even from a sniper rifle. Where all the negative reviews correct?
Not at all! There are some things in and about the game that realy excels. For instant, jumping. The way you can jump in Crysis 2 is something i never wittnessed in any other game. There's also air stomping and the possibility to slide and shoot at the same time. These are some of the aspects in the game that realy are gonna do well. There was also a great deal of reviews and rant about the graphics. I can only speak from a personal point of view and i have to say that the graphics on PS3 are astonishing! There are some minor details that lack, like the running water in the Skyline map wich will need some work.
I also know for a fact that a lot of people have canceled their pre order and so did i. I wanna wait untill the game is out and wait for some decent reviews. i still might consider of buying Crysis 2, but at this moment i'm uncertain if this game is worth my hard earned money. I'm sure that a lot people think the same.

For Southeast Asia, new price changes.
Prices effective starting May 1st, 2026.
Looks like PlayStation took a hit with Marathon and is now quietly adjusting prices worldwide to recover the losses
The price increases are due to the RAM demand associated with AI and the US-Iran war. You can look to any business news website and local news to see that. Heck, even the 2026 Asus Zenbook Duo I've been eyeing has faced delays and has had a price increase of $400; that laptop has two specs. Asus is doing a staggered release with per-orders for the lower spec now and shipping in May and pre-orders for the higher spec that I'm eyeing starting in June. Basically, all computer manufactures are affected. It'll most likely start affecting smart phones too if it hasn't already. I can't remember the last time any major console maker (Nintendo, Sony, Sega, etc) increased the price of their console mid cycle outside of Microsoft just to make more profit.

CGMagazine writes: "And as I said, the actual game of Kiln is so genuinely boring that playing it to unlock the creative tools was such a massive chore that I genuinely started to resent it by the end. Battling is a monotonous button masher. There are only five arenas, and despite being based on different gods from various mythologies, none are particularly memorable in visual style or music. And it’s all just such a homogeneous mess of nothing."
If you are amazed about a jump feature on a FPS, you're looking at the wrong genre I believe
lol people are stupid theres something in the game call armour mode where you get.......... thats right armour
Bad reviews? I've read 2 so far, from top-critics, both giving the game 10/10. Let's not forget the demo is an early version of the game people, it will more than likely be incredible... And I managed several days of fun on the demo.
