So first off all, let me get one thing out of the way. This is not going to be a rant on how the loading times where long, and how the stats aren't working. It's a BETA people, its not meant to be the final game. The entire point of our jobs as BETA testers is to find what's wrong with the game, and let them know.
So now that's out of the way, let me just say this. SOCOM Confrontation is simply a great game. It's everything that I have wanted out of a game in some time. Plus the fact that it's coming with a sweet headset helps out a lot too, but thats beside the point now. Anyway, I'm very happy with the one level that they gave us. It not only shows off the great difference between night and day play, but it has everything you want in a level. It has choke points, sniper spots, and some decent places for assault rifle combat.
THAT brings me to my next point, the weapons. I will say, that I was really happy when the weapons seemed to handle very well. The only set of guns that I have to say I didn't care for, would be the sniper class. Its just too hard to hit the target. Complain about the bad hit box all you want folks, maybe you just suck with the sniper.
A couple of months ago I made a post about MGO Vs Socom. By just playing the BETA, I can already tell you, that MGO better watch out. Because SOCOM is bringing its A game to the court. With the full version talking about having MANY factions, and more weapons, I fear that MGO may be a thing of the past in the not too distant future.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.
The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.
Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.
15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.
These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse

I do enjoy the gameplay. It's nice to get to play with some of my best PSN buddies too, but I am a functionality whore and yes it's a beta so i'm patient. I think Socom is gonna rock Plus I wants my new headset too.
