Well, I sit here right now, being one of the few people in American without a copy of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots. Not by choice, just because of the simple fact that I live 30 miles from the nearest Wal-Mart. But none of that really matters; I’ll be getting the copy in an hour anyway. Moving along to the point of this blog, over the past couple of weeks there has been a wave of hype coming from this game, everyone talking about it; die hard MGS fans and just regular gamers. Everyone has there eyes, and ears tuned into the Metal Gear Solid universe. I have been a fan since day one, and this game is really the primary reason I got a PS3 in the first place, so I have been in the hype along with everyone else. Now the game is out, and everyone and there mother has there hands on it, the mania has reached its full peak. Now with the promises of “Special Surprises” looming in the air for everyone to guess at, the Mania can only do one thing… and that is get bigger. Many people have taken good and really bad guesses at it, what could it be seems to be the only question left. One thing is for sure Konami has blessed our consoles and hearts with his beautiful master piece that is Metal Gear Solid since the days of the Super Nintendo, whether the Guns of the Patriots truly is the last installment in the MGS saga or not, I thank you Hideo Kojima, and I’m sure all other Metal Gear fans do to.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

The charity event will be streamed live from Gamescom in August.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Nay, sir. Twas the MSX, in 1989. The year "metal gear" itself came out. Otherwise, I whole heartedly agree. I hav my limited edition of MGS4 in the post, and had to rent it on release to play it ASAP.
I just finished the game, took me around 16 hours. I cried four times, it is that good. Whether you need to walk, drive, run, fly or swim the 30 miles, do it NOW.
