I was reading through xbox.com this evening when I came across StarWars Battlefront!!! Next to the image it states:

Now call me stupid, but is this an early maybe Easter Egg! Its already been said that it will be shown at this years E3! Is this another one of Microsofts E3 surprises? I'm not 100% but I'm guessing maybe... Waiting on a response from others that I reached out to other with no answers!

As Hardcoregamer Ben Textor also states, "There are still tons of questions to be answered, of course. Will it be multi-platform? We can only assume, but with EA seeming to side so strongly with Microsoft, could it be exclusive to Xbox One?
This could be great news, for Xbox One and those of you who only have the X1. We know its targeting a release around StarWars Ep. VII, in 2015, as Battlefronthq.com has reported, from EA's Winter Meetings... Could they be using the cloud, DirectX12!!! All this has me really thinking maybe!!
What do you guys think? Does Microsoft have some huge reveals ahead of them? Is EA doing another Exclusive with Microsoft?

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.
The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.
Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.
15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.
These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
The charity event will be streamed live from Gamescom in August.

Marketing bull. The same stuff we saw last generation with the Kinect. Microsoft pushed their version as the ultimate version since it had Kinect.
I seriously doubt EA are making an exclusive deal. Firstly, the guy who initiated the Titanfall exclusivity has left and secondly I highly doubt EA would make that mistake again. It is easy to understand EA thinking the One would crush PS4 sales in the short term but by the time this game launches your not talking abut next year but the year after that (DICE only recently started working on it).
This will be Microsoft making a PR push (the description is fairly vague). I am not even sure if it will use the dedicated servers Microsoft is offering
