OK, so I realize that POG may have already posted on the subject in his VERY long post earlier, but I didn't finish it so I'm not sure. I haven't been on this site as long as some of you "veterans", but I've been on long enough to realize that this crap is a little out of control. I will start by saying I prefer my PS3 over my 360. OK? Call it what you want, but that is where I stand. Something happened when i got on today, I was posting last night(way too late) and I saw a person kind of talking stuff, I think it was about Killzone or something. He wasn't being malicious and it was obvious he was joking, he was kind of doing a Stephen Colbert thing where what he was saying was so the opposite of what was true that it had to be a joke. So, I leave him a comment doing the "lol" thing that we do now days, and then probably went to sleep. I woke up this morning and did my get-on-N4G-to-see-whats-up-cuz-I'm-bored thing and I had a PM from this guy basically saying, "WTF, how the hell are people going to report me for that?", not the exact words but you get the idea. Now I fully understand that that stuff is for the Open Zone and all, but it made me realize people are really taking this console war seriously.
Now, I love the console war. It's really fun to see how each side reacts to the other, but It's all in fun with me, some of you guy really get pissed off when people don't agree with you. You guys need to get off your [freaking] high horses, and realize that this is a gaming community we have here, not a warring one. Lets try to keep this stuff on the more intelligent side of the spectrum. There are way too many flaming(and I don't mean gay... but if you are no biggy) fanboys running around. For example, what the hell are people doing in the comments of a Gears of War 2 article saying the Killzone looks better? Who in those comment would really care? Really? Come on guys. Comparing games is all good but blatancy saying, "Gears look like poop compared to Killzone!", that doesn't further the discussion about the game, it starts one about Killzone and gears. So give it a rest. Smile! : ) See if my keyboard can do it so can you.
And to the moderators(mods), you guys need to moderate. I know there is a lot of stuff flowing threw N4G on a given day, but even the hug stories with enormous threads loss control and go off on a tangent. Even if you only looked at the bigger threads or bigger stories it its like a furnace in there. Now, I realize(lol I'm doing a lot of realizing) you guys might have a self governing this going on here, and we as readers and contributors need to do a better job reporting flam bait and others, but we're not mods, you are. I'm not trying to say that we need to be censored and all that but we all know flame beat when we see it.
So, basically clam the [heck] down. Support the heck out of your favorite console, I got nothing against fanboys, just keep it intelligent. Realize that we're all gamers, and at the end of the day we all enjoy doing to same thing, gaming.

I didn't know it came out last Friday, or I would have bought the game. I will try again for this upcoming weekend.
Im really digging it. It reminds me of games from the PS2 era, not visually or how it plays, but like the spirit of it. If you were around for that golden age of gaming, you’ll get what I mean when you play this.
Have you tried Kanitsu-Gami: Path Of The Goddess (also Capcom)? That feels like a PS2-era Capcom game.
Agreed! The art style is amazing in that game. I bought it immediately after I played the demo but haven't started it lol
I know what you mean. I think it really feels like Vanquish, with some Dead Space and Binary Domain thrown in. So maybe more PS3 era but yes it is great.
The next thing I'm mine when I've had my fill of crimson desert. A nice linear action game to contrast the open ended 😗👌

I thought this game was a load of rubbish. Trying too hard to be art(sy) by people who don’t really understand art but want to make it look like they do. Found it obvious and shallow and just not a fun game. Just seemed like every relentless second they were clutching at trying to feed this superior narrative… the irony being that’s kind of what I’m doing now… maybe that’s art imitating art….

I think the mods are doing a great job, but they have to moderate both the front page and the forums. I'm sure it's not easy having to moderate all the stories and make sure no one is acting out of line in the forums at the same time. There's only a handful of mods and it's understandable that they are not online (Your world can't revolve around N4G). I think what the Admins need to do is collaborate with some of the mods and elect some more mods in order to beef up the anti-fanboy comments that are being made in both the stories and the forums.

Going purely from the title alone, that people who hear fanboys need to calm down.
Everyone gets up in arms when someone has a slight bias towards a console. It's like its like you aren't allowed to have an opinion anymore.
People who bash fanboys should just shut the hell up. Becuase everyoen ahs their biases, sooner they recognise that, the better.
