I've had more than three xbox 360 consoles since april 08 and after nearly three years of playing only xbox I decided to sell my new Xbox360 slim and buy a PS3 Move Bundle. This is my first console from Sony, because I never owned a console beside Xbox 360. I didn't even waited to try Kinect before selling my xbox and last year I thought that I am going to be one of the first one to try that peripheral. Maybe I'll try later.
Why I made my move?
-2011 is Sony's year for gaming. A lot of exclusives. Xbox 360 is getting only one exclusive that worth the mention (Gears of War 3).
-I heard more better reviews for Move than Kinect even though the Kinect is now opensource and a lot of people are showing pretty good things with Kinect nowadays.
-PS3 has bluray discs and Xbox don't.
-PS3 has free multiplayer and in Xbox you have to pay $59.99 for a year.

i got to admit i'm getting an xbox for christmas but thats cos i'm dying to play alan wake and splinter cell conviction. plus i'll never have the horrible feeling of waiting for a game to come out only to discover it was built for the xbox and poorly ported.
to be honest i think its the gen to have all three, my gf's getting a wii so i get to play donkey kong and zelda n what not but the ps3 will always be my baby!!!
also started saving for next gen i suggest other people do 2 figured i best start now incase the ps4 is 5-600
I got my PS3 in June '08. Earlier this month I sent it to the Repair Center for the very first time. I got it back in 15 days total, including FedEx ground shipping. I've been a Sony gamer for 15 years. My recent experience guaranteed that I'll be a Sony gamer for a good 15 more. So, yes, I think you made the right move.
from a pure i love many games stand point you made the right call.i hardly play my 360 anymore and haven't renewed my live gold since gears 2 (traded that in 3weeks after purchase).
ps3 is the better gaming console imo.
i owned 3 xboxes over a period of 1.5 yrs and finaly said f*&k that when metal gear solid came out and got that game
