Raz Review: "I'm tempted to give this a 10...I really am. Uncharted 2 is revolutionary in that it is the first game I've seen (yes, including MGS4) that made the difference between movie and game moot. I sat there staring at Drake dangling from the train for a full two minutes, holding my breath in suspense...and then realized the game was waiting for me to do something. It had started and I didn't even know it - I thought the movie was still going. That is how incredibly amazing the graphics and transitions are. I might go back and ride the train again, just to goggle at the amazing view; and it's easy to do because the game is divided up like a DVD chapter menu. Once you unlock a chapter, you can jump back to it anytime.
The writing is snappy, the dialogue witty and topical (Drake often has some humorous observations about your situation), the story intriguing and the characters believable. Amazing what they can do with MOCAP these days.
The actual gameplay uses the classic cover system, the puzzles are difficult enough to provide a challenge without being frustrating, and there's plenty of hidden loot to go back and search for. There's also cheats and skins and movie extras to purchase with the loot you earn in-game and online - where, I might add, you can rank up and buy mods and weapons for multiplayer matches.
MGS4 - yes, it was awesome. But you could still tell the difference because it had the concept backwards: just when you thought the game had started...oops, nope, just another cut-scene. And another. And another. Uncharted 2, on the other hand, is the game that got it right. The only reason I'm not giving it a 10 is because Naughty Dog already has plans to top this sequel - so I have to leave some room for improvement!"

Crimson Desert will not feaature microtransactions, as developer Pearl Abyss wants players to enjoy the game world.

Aaron Jones: "I would say Ys X: Proud Nordics is worth it depending on two factors and that is if you own the original game, if you do then it may be worth holding off for now. The extra content of Ys X: Proud Nordics is not worth the cost of a full new game especially if you already own it, while the game does add previous DLC such as costumes and Items the actual content of the game itself cost wise reflects that of a small DLC and could easily be sold as that, unfortunately that just is not the case, but if you have yet to try Ys X then Proud Nordics is the most up to date and definite edition of the game that you should get."
God of War creator David Jaffe delivers a harsh critique of Sons of Sparta, arguing the 2D prequel does not align with the franchise’s identity.
He likes the game and is fine with it he just don’t understand why he created Kratos and you’re not playing him. They keep pushing you to play with these other characters and I’m with him. I want to play as Kratos and focus on him and not all these other characters.
