Raz Review: "Beautiful, polished, and a stronger focus on what made the
first PoP great...traps, puzzles and lots of cool wall-running moves.
Ceilings too!
You also no longer go it alone - a lot of the
gameplay involves moves that require the assistance of your partner, a
princess who wields magic. There's even a 'banter' button you can press
during your travels - say, between platform leaps - to engage in witty
conversation, which is very well scripted and voiced; and will also
earn you a couple of trophies for being a good traveling companion.
Similarly
to 'Sands of Time', you don't need to worry if you slip and fall - this
time, it isn't a mystic dagger but your partner who steps in and uses
her magic to return you to the nearest platform. While this allows you
to enjoy your beautifully rendered surroundings at greater leisure, it
also (IMHO) makes the game a little *too* easy; as there is seemingly
no limit to this ability.
Combat is fun and engaging, but
infrequent (see my above comment about what made the first PoP great).
It's well balanced at any rate, and the campaign looks long enough to
enjoy over a week or so (assuming you also have other things to do).
If
you enjoyed the others, chances are you'll like this one as well
(though die-hard fans might gripe about it catering more to casual
gamers than previous installments). If you've never played any of the
others...you're in for a treat."

RIDE 6 Review - The RIDE series returns once again with its best entry to date thanks to more accessible gameplay and a great career mode.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties is a sad microcosm of the state of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio: a developer spinning its wheels, no longer caring for quality, content to chew up old assets and discard what made the original special in order to spit out a yearly release that cashes in on love for what the series used to be.
